Great place for the price. Amazing views of long beach with fantastic service. Decent food especially for the cost. We loved every minute if our stay here and even decided to come back for another week after island hopping around to Koh Lanta.

We tried to pre arrange a long tail boat through email with the Phi Phi Hill Resort to pick us up when we arrived to Koh Phi Phi but no one replied. When we got to the island we finally managed to get in contact with them and they came to pick us up. Once you get to the resort...

The rooms and bungalows are the most basic ones I've ever seen. Clean. But incredibly basic. The hill is a monster -- it's definitely one where you must take everything you need for the day. You're not going to climb up that to get the sunblock you forgot. Phi Phi is expensive so this is probably the cheapest. But probably...

Turned up on Phi Phi without reservations and we wanted to get away from the tourist hell that is Ton Sai. We wanted to stay on Long Beach and the only realistic option for us was Phi Phi Hill which is the furthest point on long beach. We paid 2000 baht (£40) which is expensive for Thai, but not European...

When you arrive by boat into the main harbour you need to get a long boat for 150bht to Long beech. This is the quieter side of Phi phi. To the right at the end of the beech you will find phi phi resort! It´s up high so there are alot of steps!! BUT there is a lift for your...

Phi Phi Hill Resort We stayed here for 11 nights, two adults and two small kids. Relaxed, laid-back and friendly atmosphere, you end up talking to many of the guests, or watching thai boxing on TV with the staff. The place has certainly improved since we visited it last 10 years ago. It has a much nicer garden and it...

We stayed at Phi Phi Hill for 3 nights and were impressed. The rooms are very big and the one we were in was well bug proofed (although that did not help with the noise they made at night - but this could not be helped and was due to the location!). Two of the best features were the onsite...

Even though the bungalows are nicely located with a wonderful view it does not make up for the unfriendly and worthless staff. To be fair, some of the staff in the restaurant were ok but the ones int the reception and most of the ones in the restaurant seemed to think that the guests were just trouble. Most of the...

We stayed at phi phi hill based on good reviews and a friend's recommendation. We went for the 750 bhat room - fan, cold shower, sunrise side. We paid for only 1 night upfront and thank goodness for that because we left the next day. First of all, that climb up to the resort sucks. If you want to prove...

We loved it here. Basic bungalows (book the sunrise, cheaper), but the restaurant has amazing views, and amazing food. The grounds were very nice, and the beach below is fantastic. Lots of stairs, but we stayed 5 nights and did just fine. We were worried about some of the bad reviews, but were very pleasantly surprised. Long beach is the...

“We liked very much sunrise bungalows, they are more isolated, romantic, but there is more boats' noise because they stay right near the sea.”

“The room closest to the reception can pick up free wifi from the restaurant. Book an AC room if you can afford it, there's no sea breeze so it is really hot.”
