As a 25yr old single guy the cabana hotel was a great choice to stay. When we arrived off the boat our bags were taken to the lobby and then to our room on check in, The room i was in had a balcony that faced the beach with a very nice view. it wasnt overly big but we spent most...

Rooms are on the small side (we had 3 rooms). A little nervous being on the 1st floor... since the Tsunami hit here hard (I think in 2004) but with speaker warning towers are around to sound a warning and the odds are against another hit on the 5 days we were there... we slept well. Yes there are some...

We stayed in the 2nd room up from the most basic, which I felt wasn't good value for money and was quite basic for the price. But that was my only negative. The resort was in a great location which could easily access the back beach bars and nightlife, or walk along the front past the pier to great shops...

Stayed here last month for two nights. Firstly the hotel is WAY over priced for a mediocre 3 star hotel.. $160AUD per night for a double room at the time. We paid $98AUD per night for the 5 star Grand Mellenium only 2 days before!! The check in and service staff are unmotivated, unfriendly and incompotent. They will talk in...

The location is stunning, and the hotel does have potential -- abstracting from the ever present music from near-by beach restaurants and bars. But the property is run down and the staff unmotivated. The only restaurant on the premises can best be characterised as mediocre. We were there over the Xmas holidays and the (compulsory) Christmas gala dinner and show...

There are not many 4-5 star hotels on the island of PhiPhi but PhiPhi cabana is definetly not a 4 star hotel. It's old and tired, needs a desperate revamp. Fine for the three days we spent there as there is so much to do that you don't spend time in your room. It's expensive for what you get. We...

Fresh off the boat from Krabi, they didn't have our room ready so we were forced to use the lobby bathroom where most of the toilets were clogged with feces and reeked. We were greeted by an unenthusiastic hotel clerk whose English was so terrible and whose knowledge about Phi Phi island was lacking that she was incapable and unwilling...

At the time of our arrival, the staff was very friendly and the hotel looked so nice. The food at the hotel was very good although a little overpriced. The pool area is very beautiful and the hotel's beach is very impressive...one of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen. The breakfast was very nice but there were a...

We stayed here the first week of December 2011 and paid $185/night (CAD). It is 2 star quality at 5 start prices. Had I paid $30-50/night it would have been acceptable. The rooms are small, outdated and dingy, the sheets and towels are old and dirty, there were cockroaches and the food was absolutely disgusting. I have never written a...

I went here with my husband and we checked out with our breakfast in the morning Felt a bit robbed paying £129 a night initially stuck in a bad room over looking a tennis court that hadn't been used since the 60's. I asked to be moved immediately and they took us to a room with an amazing view. I...
