From the first minute you arrive at Zeavola you are completely surrounded by its beauty, luxury, and awesome service. The hotel is built in part of a jungle, but a beautiful, well landscaped jungle with sandy walkways, and is on a beautiful turquoise beach. The staff are all genuinely nice and work hard to help with every request (and a special thanks to Gabi from the diving center :). And the rooms themselves are just amazing, with a design that balances luxury with nature and tradition. We had the best of times, wish we could stay there for a year!
Zeavola is a fantastic and super relaxing place! We felt miles away from urban world while having all modern amenities at our doorstep. The lodges are amidst lush tropical nature, there's a long pristine beach, all day you hear birds, see butterflies... we especially liked the policy that talking on the phone in the whole resort should be only done through headphones so that guests do not disturb each other. definitely would like to come again!
Apart from the condensation from my Margaritas dripping onto my shorts I am struggling to find anything negative about Zevola. From the high quality accommodation, to the most relaxing beach facilities, this has it all. Super friendly staff but never intrusive. Breakfast buffet of the highest quality and the grounds maintained impeccably. Great dining options close by if you want a change too. Too many positive comments to list, just so relaxing.
I've spent my first of five days here in Zeavola and I must say that I am overwhelmed by the atmosphere of this place. I was welcomed with a cool scented towel and after check-in I was taken to my garden suite (no. 17). It's an authentic Thai suite with an indoor and outdoor area and a seperate bathroom with shower. The indoor area has a very comfortable bed with both hard and soft pillows and a huge smart TV with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+. Enter your login credentials and you can continue watching where you left off last time. The indoor area also has airconditioning with temperature control and four fan speed settings: auto, high, medium and low. I would suggest setting it to low before you go to bed. In the evening, housekeeping will prepare your room for the night. They will spray mosquito repellent (more on mosquitos later) and lower the mosquito net around your bed for a comfortable mosquito free night. Tacada is the beachside restaurant where you can have a nice lunch, drinks and enjoy the view. Dinner is served in Taxil restaurant. The food is delicous wether you prefer Thai dishes or European cuisine. Breakfast is served in Taxil restaurant as well. The choices are extensive and the quality is great. The staff is very courteous and really knows what hospitality is all about. Kudo's for Banky and Martin who've made my first day. I read a lot of comments about the mosquitos here on Tripadvisor. Here are my thoughts: Anyone traveling to this part of the world without mosquito repellent is just not prepared. I stayed in Ao Nang beach before coming here and there is no difference between Ao Nang and Koh Phi Phi as far as mosquitos are concerned. As long as you spray yourself with a repellent containing DEET you don't have much to worry about. The hotel also provides sachets with wet mosquito repellent cloths, but I suggest you bring your own spray. Now I'm off to enjoy day two. My first stop the beautiful salt water swimming pool and after that a nice light lunch at Tacada.…
We stayed for three nights after a super fun but bonkers 4 nights in Patong. The resort is beautiful but is made excellent but all the little touches - the furnishings are divine and housekeeping leave little gifts on your bed when they turn down your bed - the staff are lovely and the setting was beautiful. Spa treatments were amazing - obviously everything is more expensive than other parts of Thailand but we loved it!
Lovely resort, but not quite paradise. Following other reviews…. The resort itself is lovely, styled as traditional villas set by sea and up hillside. They are spacious with bedroom and living area with resting mats. Tech included are electric blinds, numerous lights. Mosquitoes are well controlled by nets, spray by the turn down service and provided wipes. There is a quiet peace. “Small luxury hotel” is a little exaggerated, rather a carefully curated place to rest on a nice beach. It is not however paradise- it is a resort on an island next to two other hotels and a handful of restaurants. It is on a public beach and a blue tractor from neighbouring hotel ploughs ( often just 100 yards) up and down frequently just missing those sunbathing on the beanbags and belching out smoke. There are numerous boats- speedboats and long tail - whose engines provide constant noise. There are notices everywhere to switch off phones and keep from disturbing others yet the restaurant has a speaker playing awful pop music. The beach is tidal so at times it is very shallow. The restaurant is ok but gets a little boring. It is lovely place, staff are great and we would recommend…
Our stay at Zeavola over New Year was truly amazing and extraordinary. We enjoyed a 1 hour boat ride from the Royal Phuket Marina and were welcomed with warm smiles and a delicous welcome drink. The water was crystal clear and we took the opportunity to enjoy some snorkeling right in the bay near the rocks. After that, we chilled with a sunset drink and enjoyed the magnificent view. The team is very attentive and service-minded. Our Garden Suite surrounded by lush jungle was a nice oasis and integrated into the nature. All in all, a wonderful experience and we will definitely come back soon.
We celebrated our Honeymoon here and we were not disappointed. This is my second visit to this amazing resort and I was so excited to introduce my husband to Phi Phi island and Zeavola. The resort is outstanding and it’s all sustainable, so for those looking to indulge themselves in a natural habitat with a touch of luxury this is for you. The resort is built entirely on sand so no shoes required, it’s the best feeling to wander around bare foot. The staff can’t do enough for you and the excursions are excellent, we made use of the complimentary canoes and snorkel equipment too. The food in the resort is lovely and I recommend BBQ night where we sampled amazing Tuna and prawns. There are also some bars and restaurants on the beach and in nearby Phi Phi village if you want a change of scene. I would also highly recommend the spa treatments, the therapists were experienced and it was delightful. Thank you Zeavola, especially to Leon who has worked tirelessly to make sure this amazing place survived post Covid and our fave head waiter Nico. We really will be back! Love Love Loved it.…
It was very cool! We enjoyed every minute of our staying with Zeavola’s team. Manager Leon (who is very charismatic person) told us, that the resort is 24/7 barefoot place, which is really fantastic! Room is perfect, nature, eco and 100 comfortable, big tv, nice bed, which is also prepared before every night. Sea is turquoise, clean and very warm. I have no words to describe how much I’m grateful to family Zeavola for my vacation. They’re not just friendly, they ARE your friends. Every evening we got small presents and fruits, it melted my heart, also I should notice high quality cuisine (big thnx to chef also ( chicken milanese is my favourite)) We had a pleasure to spent together NYE, it was a lot of fun😂 I almost forgot to tell about spa! It was incredible, the best Thai massage I’ve ever had. Big hug to everyone from Maria, room 40❤️…
This is our second time visiting the beautiful Zeavola resort. This time we (2 adults, 3 kids aged 17, 15, 9) stayed for nine nights and could easily have stayed much longer. It is a little slice of heaven here. The beach is picture postcard, perfect. We love the eco-rustic style of this boutique resort and the feeling of being close to nature. The indoor outdoor style of the room with its authentic Thai design gives you the feeling of truly being in Thailand and sets it apart from the larger high rises. The staff are incredible. They can’t do enough for you. Special mention to May, Nico, Banky and head chef Satya. The food is at the heart of this place. Tasty, fresh, local dishes at very reasonable prices. The GM Lion is always around making sure everyone if having a good time. The scuba diving was a big part of us choosing to return to this destination. So many great dive locations and when the sea is calm the visibility is superb. Lots of colourful fish and coral, turtles, white tip sharks. Leopard sharks. Eels, yellow seahorses, nudi branches and my favourite - huge porcupine fish that follow you around. The dive centre is great headed up by Gabby and his team Marco and Giovanna. They did all they could to find great locations according to the wind and currents whilst offering variety of dive sites. This resort is not for everyone - if you are squeamish and don’t like bugs don’t come. The nature is what this place is about and as well as a variety of songbirds you will see moths, giant millipedes , lizards, frogs, maybe even a snake. And being in the tropics, there are mosquitoes but the resort fogs regularly. If you’re after luxury finishes in your room, don’t come. This is about eco luxury not bling. Think big beanbags on the beach with a cocktail in hand rather than luxury sun beds with refeshing towels. If this is for you, you will not regret a visit and like us I’m sure you will visit more than once.…
