This hotel is top of a hill and out the way from everything. But there is a courtesy transport to to you down and up.Check wasn't the quickest but Thailand for you the room was stunning though everything was massive from the bathroom to the bedroom to the balcony with stunning views but no hot water at all for 3 days breakfast I would skip but main concern is the pool they said it was open but took one look at the water and would definitely catch something from it and pool area very dangerous would I stay here again I dought it but wasn't from the room we would have changed hotel
Would not stay again. First, there are no directions on how to get there from the main pier in Koh Phi Phi. After 1/2 hour plus dragging our luggage around town, we finally found the shuttle to the hotel (the one positive is the drivers as they were very nice). The check in process was not great as the two women behind the counter seemed completely clueless on what to do. As far as the room itself, despite claims of wifi in rooms, our room had none and also the bathroom had a smell similar to that of a septic tank. I spoke to numerous other guests and their complaints varied from not having a working TV to another guest's room's water stopping mid-shower. Avoid.
Wonderful new resort. Rooms are big, full of sun with nice view. Bathrooms are beautiful. Stuff was helpful and so friedly. Helped us with anything we needed. As it is on top of mountain (as the name says) there is an imazing view. It is quiet and no outside people walk through here, which is good. Hotel provides all day long taxi shuttle to beach and to town. The aquapark was fun. The level of decorating fish and other colorful painted animals and sculpted details is incredible. So nice. But watch for your kids, definetely the rides are for older kids, like over 8 years and older. The slides are quick and curvy. There are smaller pools for infants too. We were here in 2020 and happily came back in 2022. We had an imazing 5 days here. Enjoyed it here a lot!
Very poor experience Initially, on arrival, we had not received information which should have explained we could find a porter at the pier who would take us on a long boat and then a van to the hotel. Instead, we walked in the heat for 40 minutes before ringing the hotel twice to ask for help. The first time, they told us to walk to the viewpoint, but we had all our luggage and it was 32 degrees Very far from phi phi which is ok, however, it is uncomfortable when returning at night as you are collected from a dark side street The site was unfinished with ongoing construction The waterpark was very dangerous with deep water and slides which are much too fast. It also appeared slightly unkept which is upsetting considering how new the hotel is We experienced a lot of bugs in our room Our bathroom flooded every time we used the shower, the towel rail was lent against the wall in pieces and we had dirty water in our toilet. Considering the site was almost empty aside from 3, maybe 4 other groups, a complimentary room upgrade may have been beneficial - to both us and them The staff were friendly and could not do enough for us when we arrived, however, we left our stay early after only 1 night due to these issues…
We were in a family vacation and were looking for a decent place to stay in Koh Phi Phi for 3 nights. We saw this hotel in Trip Advisor while applying the following filters: 4+ rating, hotels, 4&5 stars, free WiFi. The hotel (like other hotels in the area) gives free pick-up/drop-off services by long-tail boat from/to the pier. The hotel offers free breakfast and free use of their water park. They also offer free rides to key locations such as the hotel reception, room, the nearest town center, the beach and partial way to the viewpoint. So far everything sounds nice for a family with 2 kids. But you know what they say - the devil is in the details… While we booked we asked for 2 rooms with sea view. They gave us 2 rooms with water park view and no view of the sea. And by “water park view” I mean that the balconies in the rooms were about 3 meters from the main slide of the park! Strong sewerage smell came out from both bathrooms (in the 2 rooms) which smelled horrible. Also, the TVs in both rooms didn’t work, but we were too tired from the day and decided to let it go and decide what to do in the morning. In the next morning we woke up with no electricity in the rooms which was due to a power cut of the entire island - yeh… tough luck. As a result we couldn’t use the water park (since the pumps couldn’t operate). So we spent some time at the beach. When asking the receptionist when the power is expected to return, she replied at 17:00. Since there’s still some light that time, I asked if it was possible to use the water park when the electricity is back - she said she will ask the operators. The electricity came back at 16:50 that day. They didn’t open the water park at 17:00, and so I asked if it was possible once again. Bottom line it started getting dark and the water park has no lights so it was pointless. So I suggested that the next day they open the park 1 hour earlier (they said they usually open at 09:00), so at least my kids can enjoy it for 3 hours (we needed to delay an island tour for that to work out…). The receptionist agreed. However, the next morning they didn’t open the water park at 08:00 - only at 09:00 so my kids had only 2 hours (total in the entire stay!) to be in the water park. Note that the water park overall safety is in question - the maintenance is horrible and some slides are dangerous to use! Also, if you’re planning to go with young kids note that some of the pools are very deep and not safe for kids (and we’ve been to 3 different water parks in Thailand). We asked to move to a room with a sea view. They gave us a quite expensive room (1 room instead of 2 rooms and the total price was 2,000 THB more than the 2 rooms altogether). The room had a good sea view, but it felt like no one checked that the room was OK before we entered. The TV didn’t work, there was no WiFi and the overall maintenance of the room was very bad (pictures attached). There were ants in the shower and in the room, the floor and walls were dirty and we received dirty towels. Water did not come out of the top shower head. Breakfast is basic and you need to notify about your preferences during checkin. Buffet is also basic (no fresh juice only concentrate) and I got some ants in my morning coffee. Honestly I don’t know how this hotel got 4 stars, not sure I would rate it 3 stars. The general feeling is that the hotel staff does the minimum required to fix guests issues. Sometimes not fixing them at all. But the staff is friendly so they do it politely and nicely. By the way, it was low season so the hotel was pretty empty. No compensation offered at checkout - not even late checkout while receptionist knew it would have been helpful to us. They did charge us with 100 THB for 1 glass of cold milk we asked to bring to the room. Won’t come back here for sure.…
This is the worst hotel I have stayed at. The water park is extremely dangerous! Three out of five of our family were injured at the water park. Another family also were seriously injured luckily it wasn’t a child but I imagine their holiday is ruined. DON’T USE THE WATER PARK
This hotel has an amazing view, extremely kind and helpful staff and excellent service overall. The rooms are sparkling clean, modern and new. Delicious breakfast with options to choose from. Even though it is a bit far from the beach and town, it is totally worth it, since the shuttle bus is readily available. Waterpark is huge and looks really fun for kids, too!
Very nice, clean, new hotel, curently some parts under construction but we were not bordered by any noise or anything. Super friendly staff arranged free pick up from pier and free shuttle bus to the town and beach. Brackfast was realy rich and tasty.
Clean and modern rooms. Very kind staff with a genuine smile on their faces, constantly greeting and being polite. Breakfast, or i would rather call it brunch, with a variety of cold and hot dishes as well as traditional thai food. Been in many places in Thailand but this was the best beach so far. Not to shallow and not to deep with plenty of snorkling right at the beach. The hotel had their own little part of the beach but we could stay everywhere on the beach. Even had beach chairs and shadow places for free. The best part of The hotel was definitely the service they have. They could drive you every where you wished to go anytime totally for free. You feel totally spoiled. Like having your own driver take you anywhere anytime. Absolutely fantastic!
Hotel is still under construction with many unfinished areas. The beach or town can be reached only by the shuttle offered by the hotel that has very limited time schedule. Hotel is situated far from the beach.
