Full Disclosure: we did not end up staying here for the night. Visited as two couples (from Canada) on February 12th 2016. We booked two rooms for an unknown 3 star hotel through hotwire. When we found out that we had gotten "this hotel" and searched it through trip advisor we decided to head down to Koh Phi Phi anyways...

We thought we were paying extra money to have a really nice stay in Phi Phi and when we arrived the room that we'be booked online didn't exist and they wanted us to stay in a creepy room 100 steps up. We refused and it took an hour of arguing with the manager (who doesn't speak any English) to change...

No taxis in Koh Phi Phi which meant traipsing about the island, asking locals where the hotel was and everyone gave us different directions. Its a pretty long walk for backpackers in the sweltering heat and at definitely didn't like walking home at night. We arrived at the hotel and the woman didn't have great English so was getting confused...

My friends and I booked bamboo mountain resort in phi phi, when we arrived on the island we had to trek halfway up a mountain to get to the resort, we had informed the hotel we were arriving and they didn't send anyone to meet us at ferry. The road up to the hotel was littered with everything imageable and...

The toilet and the shower didnt work at all for all the 3 days we were here. We just wanted to leave from the first second we arrived but we couldn't. The hotel ruined the whole visit on Phi Phi. Don't choose this hotel!!!!

I'm currently living on Phi Phi doing a Divemaster internship so for me staying in an expensive hotel was out of the question. I came across Bamboo mountain view as I was suggested it by a fellow Divemaster. On visiting I thought it was basic. Bed, shower and electricity but it also has a pool and wifi included. The staff...

It is quite far away from a main village. You have to walk about 20 minutes from a pier. Bungalows are basic only with the fan. There is a swimming pool and a small restaurant. We pay 1000 THB for a bungalow, I think it is quite overpriced, but on Phi Phi is overpriced everything. For a breakfast you have...

Seen a few other reviews and it wasn't that bad! Yes it's a fair way off the beaten track but only a 10 min walk into the action. Room was ok, clean but hard beds complete with mosquito nets (needed). Guy that seemed to be in charge was nice even if it felt like he was coming on to you...

The worst possibility to stay. We booked this hotel by an agency and stayed here for couple hours. Everything is awfull, smell and plenty of garbage all over the place. Hotel is sorounded by huts covered by smell and dirty. For this price you can stay in much better hotels.

Where to start, we booked this through a agency called 'Chaokoh Travel Centre Ltd' which is located inside Krabi Pier do not use them their complete con artists! We thought the photos of Bamboo Mountain View looked really nice and worked out a decent price for 5 nights as their was 5 of us, the photos are deceiving. We turned...
