Obviously during full moon this place raises the prices but I paid $120 for three nights and it wasn't anything special. They never cleaned the room and the walk to the hotel is rocky and isn't paved. Wouldn't have complained but we saw bungalows much nicer than ours on the property and they definitely weren't completely booked.

This place gets negative reviews only because they come from the resort competing with them. So don’t be biased and see for yourself that Amaresa is one of the best places you can stay on this island! We’ve stayed there for entire week and had both the cheapest and the most expensive room booked. The more expensive options – the...

By mistake I booked double. Amaresa did look very appealing and was recommended to us various times. Stupidly I made a planning mistake . I did booked but overlooked the fact we should be in our home flight by then. A simple email was enough to cancel without cost although they could have charged us full as to the cancellation...

Do not stay! Grossly over priced. If you want to spend far too much money on a "resort" which is placed in the back and beyond, windy dirt tracks which don't take "15 mins" to the beach. And staff who are so shockingly rude and unaccommodating, then this is the place for you! We ended up leaving. As soon as...

This place was gorgeous! Very hard to find! The tuk tuks don't take you up as its a steep hill! My friend and I got lost! So we rang the hotel and they came to pick us up! The rooms are lovely! A fair amount of mosquitos and ants! We got bitten to shreds!! The view is breathtaking! The food...

Fantastic location to wake up to. The rooms are small but perfect, the rooms are on stilts looking over the sea. With all windows in front of you bed which makes it even better. Only problem is finding it you need to drive carefully as is a dirt road and can bottom your car out getting there but the village...

Small Fan Bungalows: I booked one small Fan Bungalow via airbnb. I got Bungalow 105 which is really nice. It was clean. Warm water. Didnt have mosquitos. The view out of the balcony and windows was amazing. You felt like being on a special place on top of the cliffs. The bed was pretty hard. Shower and Toilette were okay....

I spent only one night at the Resort but I truly loved it! The Location is amazing, it is a quiet and idyllic place at the cliffs with a stunning view. The town is not far away and the Resort offers a free shuttle service. The bungalows are great and the staff is very kind ans friendly. I ordered food...

I stayed two nights at Amaresa Resort while exploring Koh Phangan. They arranged a pickup and met me with a cold towel and a drink on arrival at reception. Throughout the stay the family that run the resort have been so lovely and calm in their manner. The location is at the top of a hill, and the views are...

“Go for the newly renovated/built ocean view rooms. It's worth that "little bit more" most definitely. Rooms are stacked 2 per cottage/unit, so be sure to get one that is "on top". There are some very close to the restaurant (which is quiet most of the time), or you can request going a further walk down closer to the ocean (depending on how much exercise your legs enjoy).”
