When we got off the boat and walked up to the hotel from the beach, we were sure we had the wrong location from the pictures!! Beachside pool area was astroturf and felt like you were on a Carnival Cruise. Pictures on website are misleading and from years ago. We stayed in a family loft and the room/space was nice,...

We booked pool access rooms at this lovely resort. I highly recommend you do as well! The food at the restaurant was ok but there are lots of local places that I would recommend including a little coffee shop just a short walk from the hotel (I think it's just called Lanta Cafe) and breakfast here is what I suggest....

A big hotel with beach location. We had a room with pool access and the kids loved it. The gym was great, breakfast area was crowded but the food was ok. The pool area next to the bech was nice as well. I missed a cozy place by the beach to eat but there are severeal other restaurants on the...

We stayed 2 weeks in a Grand Suite (63 m2), which was good for 2 adults and 2 kids. We were lucky to get a corner suite, so there were 2 extra windows. Often, the first room (usually for the kids) does not have any window. Many suites have direct pool access, but that also means swimmers are looking right...

The hotel is well-located. That's about everything positive I can say. We stayed at several resorts on Koh Lanta, and this was one of the worst experiences. The hotel caters to Swedes, and the impression you get is that little reinvestment goes into the hotel. The grounds are worn-out and need sprucing up. The breakfast was consistently cold, regardless of...

Beautiful resort if they train there staff to smile more, asking customer what they want, make the customer feel more warm and inviting! Breakfast are ok not too bad. They are 5-6 peoples to that was very friendly and helpful from the whole resort! Receptionist look like they don't want to work! No smile on there face when they see...

Got a free upgrade to room with pool access which was nice. Rooms are spacious but it's all a little dated. Shower was broken and the air conditioning died the second night. After a phone call to the office both were fixed very quickly. Our room was right next to the water slide and playground which did get a little...

As I mentioned in Episode 1 , we planned our Thailand travel trip two weeks prior to our departure date and we decided to make it a self drive experience. We first visited Centara Grand West beach Resort and took the road to Cha-Da Beach Resort & Spa in Ko Lanta on the 8th of December 2106.The GPS indicated a...

I really liked this place, the room and resort were amazing. Everything you need when you are hopping all over the place. Big room, nice bathroom, clean and comfy. Breakfast was amazing. The grounds are beautiful and it's a bonus that you get direct access to the beach too. Local amenities are plentiful, loads of bars and restaurants and a...

The resort is amazing, we were welcomed by a nice reception lady who explained where everything was etc. Her english was great which made this really easy. Our room was lovely - really big (bigger than we thought when booking). Pool was really chilled out and relaxing. Plenty of bars/ restaurants along the beach if you didn't fancy staying in...
