Visited in Oct 2014. Really good.. Credit goes to Mr. Shaheed.. Neatly maintained.. Good hospitality... Have lot of spaces... Definitely will stay next time. Calm even though it's present in the middle of the city..

Dalethorpe is a charming cottage, located in a quiet neighborhood. The pros about this place ends there. The rooms did not have a functional tv and it took one message and a call to the owner to get that fixed up. My first experience along with my family here was awesome. Nice homely feeling and very friendly staff who took care of us really well. Location was good, very close to city but away from city buzz.. it was simple homely food, they don't hesitate to cook whatever you ask for. Overall an excellent experience. Visited Kodaikanal with family this June and stayed at Dalethorpe English Bungalow, two days stay n visit was most memorable one. Good food and hospitality was provided to us, Mr.Shaheed and team made us feel like home away from home.

I went to Kofaikanal with my family from July 6-9.The stay was awesome.No words to say.It is located away from the mains,which is the greatest plus point.With freezing climate,it was a wonderful time.Food was simply the best as they prepare for whatever we ask.A must place to stay!!!

Dalethorpe is a great place to stay in a crowded and busy tourist town. Sharif, his wife and staff go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need, and some things you don't. The food was excellent! We loved the four days and three nights we spent in the Deluxe rooms there; got in the odd game...

Stay at Dalethorpe was very pleasant. Located very near to market & lake...cottage is neat and very big bed rooms. Service was also very good. Had a enjoyable and memorable vacation with my family last year.
