We stayed here as part of an Intrepid tour of Rajasthan, for two nights. After some fairly intense travel, this place was a most welcome oasis of calm. The hotel itself is in a spectacular setting; as one of the first heritage hotels to open, it's had a bit longer than others to beautify itself. The place is well-maintained, which...

Had a fantastic 2 days here and wish we had stayed longer. Rooms are big clean and very comfortable, food was good and staff were charming. Did yoga in the morning and chatted to maharaja, walked into town accompanied by the friendly dogs, great stay.

We stayed here for 1 night as part of a 19 day tour. It was an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle of the main cities. We stayed in a very large room 208 which had its own spacious balcony overlooking the courtyard. This was on the 2nd floor and the steps were very narrow and steep....

We stayed at Casle Bijapur as part of our tour with Intrepid Travel. Our room was lovely and very regal. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. The proprietor offers a cooking class and outing to a nearby lake that was part of our tour. It was a beautiful setting where "camping" tents are also offered for lodging....

Our visit did not start off well as the staff were obviously having a siesta - so no garlands and only a rather hastily woken solitary drummer - which would not have mattered at all except that the next guests to arrive got the whole full five star welcome!! We were not given the upgraded rooms we had booked -...

A beautiful setting with great potential. It was evident since check in that the staff had no customer service training. We were not informed of anything and found ourselves at a loss several times to simple things for example where dinner was served. Staff were helpful but in a very laxed and unprofessional way. The food was bland even after...

Old castle. Converted in 1991 to a hotel. We stayed here 1 night and the total of all the parts I'd disappointing. We had power blackouts on at least 7 occasions during the afternoon. The beds are just acceptable. The restaurant serves. Buffet at night, Indian food only. Breakfast was ordinary, so overall, I would not stay here again The...

I stayed here for one night only on a recent Intrepid tour of Rajasthan. It was probably the most favourite place that I stayed. My room opened out into a lovely courtyard with gardens and lots of flowers in bloom. My room was very clean, there was plenty of hot water with great water pressure, the bed was very comfortable...
