Very convenient for train station! Would recommend for short stay arriving or leaving from station as its walking distance! Free wifi in areas of hotel but not rooms! Hot water was a nice bonus! Although I did get quite a lot of mosquito bites during the evening! All in all everything you need under one roof!

In its day it probably was grand, with marble stairs, a garden courtyard and wood paneling in the foyer and restaurant, A pleasant surprise inside, as my room had recently been renovated and the bathroom was first class with fresh tiles, and quality fittings, the bed comfortable and a new TV etc. Breakfast was good and service friendly. The street...

Dear all, This is one of the best hotels in amritsar as had stayed in this hotel in the month of December 15. It's really very convinient from here to travel any part of amritsar from here as having a just walking distance to railway station and 10 minutes rickshaw ride to Shri Darbar Sahib. Best part is rates of...

Just opposite the train station and not too far away from the city center. Good reception. Good room (complicated shower with 3 valves, but after some experimenting you know how it works), clean also. I had a quiet room. And the garden to drink a beer was also good. Personal was very kind and arranged everything I needed. So worth...

The main plus of the hotel is it's convenience for the train station, just 200m away, although the downside of that is a pretty nasty area of the city to stay in. You can walk into the old city too if you don't mind walking a little way. The hotel looks like it used to be nice, but a bit...

Amritsar itself is not an attractive city. We arrived by train and stayed at this Hotel one night to visit the Golden Temple and also the India/Pakistan Border Retreat. The hotel is very close to the Railway Station. On first appearance it's a bit of a shambles as the road outside the hotel is under repair/construction so there is rubble...

Cool bar attached (they have beer on draught) They organise a good tour by shared taxi to the border closing ceremony and golden temple at night. Only 200 metres from the railway station but an oasis of peace and quiet. The room, though basic, was functional and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to look after us. The garden cafe served veg and non veg meals and service was good. Their restaurant cum bar is called Bottoms Up...
