We booked the whole cottage and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and the host was very caring and friendly. The cottage has a lovely garden and very neat rooms. Overall a nice place to stay while exploring Munnar.

Its perpendicular to the Costly Silver Tips of Munnar where my brother-in-law a Vice-Principal of Mumbai's Jhunjhunwala College stayed by paying Rs 6,000. I stayed at John's Home stay at half the price and that two for two rooms since we were four adults and a child. The Garden behind the homestay bungalow and flowing water was really a treat....

We arrived to John's cottage after a huge disappointment from our previous hotel and we were so relieved! John the owner was extremely nice, the food was really good and the rooms were clean and cosy. The cottage has a very beautiful garden were you can sit and relax. Highly recommended!

Rooms are dark and dank. The service is not good. We found John was very rude. There are other places to stay of much better quality, some of the same price. I would defintely stay somewhere, anywhere else.

We had a nice few days stay here, breakfast was good and rooms although a bit dated were comfortable and clean, make sure you ask for hot water as sometimes needs to be turned on. Lovely garden to relax in, and staff very attentive and John the owner is a very lovely and helpful man. I would fully recommend you...

Please don't stay at this place.Rooms have no space at all. The ambience sucks. TV has no English channels. The cook is a horrible person. The taste of the food is terrible. The water that comes from the tap is polluted and it stinks . Don't stay here and spoil your trip.

Every other thing is okay. But the basic water is yellow colour and stinky smell throughout the room, makes one decide to go out. Infact, a foreigner couple has decided to take a room just b4 we could settle down but within a few minutes they came out saying SORRY ! Best to avoid this place. ... Verghy
