A beautiful room. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant was simple but clean. All food was freshly prepared using produce grown in the gardens. A lovely spot to take in the fresh air and views of Munnar.

My friend and I stayed 3 nights in one of the cottages at Ambady Estate and loved our stay. The cottages are well hidden on the hills of this cardamon plantation. Away from the little busy town of Munnar, it's the perfect location to enjoy the region, starting with a walk on the beautiful plantation. The food was amazing from...

We stayed here for two nights. Ideal for touring Munnar and the tea plantations. The staff could not have been more attentive and the lovely Keralan food was a definite highlight with many ingredients coming from the estate or nearby neighbours. Plenty of birdlife and nearby walks.

What a delightful and charming place to stay. About 5km outside Munnar, off the main road, only 8 rooms this place is a quiet oasis overlooking the cardamon estate and tea plantations. You will be forgiven for thinking 'am i in Surrey?' as the architecture does look vaguely similar! But don't be fooled by the main building, which once they...

We recently spent 2 nights at the Ambady Estate and really enjoyed a very relaxing stay. The complimentary herbal drink on arrival, the ambiance around the estate and the staff's willingness to meet our needs all created a really warm and relaxing atmosphere. We would happily return or recommend the accommodation to friends.

We stayed here for three nights. Really loved it, beautiful gardens, peaceful and full of wildlife. Dileesh and all of other staff were so friendly and helpful. Cottage comfy and clean. Food is stunning. We stayed in 9 different 4 and 5 star hotels during our 3 week stay in India and the Ambady Estate was in our top favourite...

Beautiful cozy cottages. This estate offers 8 cottages only. Extremely spacious and well maintained. Gives a lovely homely feeling. The staff is efficient and friendly. Extremely helpful. The indian food especially the kerela delicacies are brilliant. Must try! We had the opportunity to even cook with the help of the chef. Was a lovely experience. The weather adds to this.

Ambady is an organic spice estate, with 8 little cottages, each having two self contained spacious rooms with a seating area as well as sleeping area, and a patio or garden. The bed - and bedding, and the fittings were high quality, it lacked a hairdryer but if I had asked I am sure one would have been found. Our...
