We stayed here with our 2 children (12,10) in Dec '12 for 1 night ( but wished it,d been more!). Anil and Jeeva were fantastic hosts and the rooms were very comfy and clean. The food was delicious and plentiful and we loved our walk with Anil into the tea plantations, he was very knowledgeable and the scenery was breath...

We couldn't have been happier with our stay in Munnar. From the moment we got to Royal Mist we were welcomed and made feel completely at home. Anil was so helpful with advice on what to see, arranging cars and tours for us and bringing us for a hike around Royal Mist, showing us all the different spices growing there....

The Royal Mist was probably the best place we stayed in this time. Anil and Jeeva were wonderful hosts and couldn't do enough to make our time there as good as it could be. Beds were very comfortable, meals delicious and the ambience excellent. We were made to feel like one of the family from the moment we arrived. I...

It's hard to describe what a wonderful stay we had at Royal Mist. Of all the places we stayed in India, a country of warm hospitality and amazing food, Anil and Jeeva's place takes the cake. Looking back on our stay, it wasn't the rooms (though they were nice), and it wasn't the view (although it was amazing), it was...

My mother and I stayed at Royal Mist for 4 nights. We were given a warm hearted welcome by Anil and Jeeva and felt like family. Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view. All of the guestrooms are upstairs and open onto a shared balcony/terrace with a seating area. Breakfast was plentiful and yummy. They also offer...

We've stayed at many bed & breakfasts over the years and this one truly stands out. When we arrived Anil, Jeeva and their children came out to greet us with big smiles to welcome us to their home. Once we were settled, Anil took us on a hike through a nearby woods and tea plantation with beautiful views. This set...

Staying at the Royal Mist was a highlight of our India trip. Anil and Jeeva were so friendly that I got choked up saying goodbye to them. I now consider them my Indian parents. Anil drove us to see a local religious festival one night -- just one example of how they go out of the way to help guests....

We stayed for two nights in late November. We were made extremely welcome and we felt at home immediately. Good home cooking served on the balcony overlooking the valley. The homestay was vey comfortable but it was the lovely hosts, Anil and Jeeva, that really made our stay special.

A lovely place, and lovely people. This offers perfect relaxation and / or plenty of activity depending on how much time you have. Anil and Jeeva have the balance just right on being attentive hosts and offering you perfect tranquillity and the ability to make the most of beautiful surroundings.
