They are open for business and taking all COVID protocols. The staff is amazing. Always has a smile and asking if they can do anything for you. The resort is beautiful and you can just come and relax. The dive shop staff is really great. They know everything about the dive sites and don't rush you thru and out. You are not right in town which is great but a 2 minute walk into town.
We were met at the airport by a smiling and dancing Cleve and what a welcome to this wonderful island! He gave of a short tour on our way to Seagrape, and had a selection of beers to try when we arrived at lunch. They stayed open late so we could eat, and we had a delicious first meal! The bungalow was large and had everything we needed. The WIFI was spotty and we had to leave the room to use it, but we wanted to disconnect so this actually benefits us greatly. It limited our time spent worrying about anything other than enjoying the island! Bungalows have no TV, who needs it with that view! Admiral, Ricky and Hugo at the dive center were awesome! We saw a seahorse our first day, and our last day of dives! Had some rough weather, so we had flexibility and took our island tour with Cleve one day when waves were too rough! What a treat! Each breakfast and lunch was great, and the wonderful kitchen staff made a cake for husband's birthday!! Sweet chef! The grounds are always being cleaned and the gardens are beautiful! Mariella and Jessica made sure we had everything we could want and got our exit covid tests scheduled for our last day...😪...We had 2 dives a piece that we weren't able to use, so they added those to our package when we come back in August, along with making sure we would be in our same room! A1! This was our first trip to the island, and we were taken in by this family (everyone is related) with such open arms that we had to come back. We cancelled our other destination!!!…
This was our first trip to Roatan, Honduras. We looked at many places, but this fit our bill. We enjoyed the family feel of the staff. The staff is actually family to each other, and invited us to be part of the family throughout our stay. We were VERY spoiled during our trip. Due to COVID and traveling during January, we had the entire resort to ourselves. The kitchen staff catered to our requests and kept us fed extremely well. We used the Seagrape dive shop to scuba dive for 3 dives each for 5 days. We were the only 2 on the dive boat, except one day when a local joined us. The divemaster and boat captain treated us like royalty. Captain even brought out fresh fruit for snacking on between dives. The bungalow was very clean and the entire resort felt very safe. We were close enough to "town" to walk back and forth for supper in the evenings. We are already planning our next trip to see our new family with Seagrape and the beauty of Roatan.…
Fantastic place!! We were spoiled the entire week we were there. Great location close to town. The food was delicious! We were catered to all the time. The diving was super! Staff were all family. We will be back!!
From the moment we arrived at Seagrapes, we knew this resort was different than most. You instantaneously feel like family. We stayed in the bungalows which I highly recommend! They are the perfect size, great size bathroom and comfy beds with a hammock on your patio! They also have great views and close to the pool. The cleaners do a great job everyday and leave your room smelling amazing. They also have a very affordable laundry service. They serve breakfast and lunch and everything we ate tasted amazing. I can still taste the banana bread, yum!! I received my open water certification there at the dive shop. I loved everyone there. Ricky is so patient and takes his time with anyone who needs extra help (aka me) Ricardo makes you believe in yourself and makes sure you reach the full limit of your capabilities and because of that we got to see a Seahorse! Apparently it is pretty rare. Everyone is very encouraging and have a passion for what they do. All in all, I would not ever stay anywhere else. Yes, you can find an all inclusive resort where you get drinks brought to you and you never leave a beach chair. But Seagprapes offers you so much more than that. If you want to stay somewhere genuine loving people who love their island and are passionate about sharing it with you, you need to stay here! Also, they have a connection to Cleve's tours and you MUST book one with him. He will show you things you would never see otherwise. He will show you the good, the bad and the ugly! But it all comes together and makes you appreciate every moment you spend on this beautiful island. Thank you Mariela, Jessica, Ricky, Ricardo, Admiral, Michael and everyone else. You were all so good to us and we cannot wait to see you again soon!!…
