I have nothing original to say in this review that has not been written in all the prior reviews. Great hotel and staff. We had a wonderful stay! Ronnie and Bonnie will be missed and I wish Cocolobo a smooth transition to new management. I do have one recommendation. If you need to pick a dive shop, Seagrape Plantation is...

I have stayed here a bunch over long periods of time...so I know what I'm talking about. To ilustrate current management...my AC wasn't working so well, so Ron replaced it...that day! What resort on Roatan...or anywhere ...is that responsive. Great resort...but management has terminated their managers...superb hoteliers...Ron & Bonnie...Canadians! What are they "tinking?" (That's Canadian...) The reason this resort is so...

My new bride and I spent our Honeymoon on Roatan for two weeks before going to Utila for another week. The first week we stayed at Cocolobo. The rooms were excellent, open and airy with A/c. There was internet in the common area. The resort is located just out of west end, Just a couple of minutes to the restaurants...

Upon arrival, my friend and I were thrilled at what we found at Cocolobo! The setting is a dream and tucked away from buzz of the main street in West End. However, it is only a couple of minutes on foot to be in the center town and at Coconut Tree Divers. Aside from beautiful rooms with spectacular views, the...

Whenever I read reviews and try to make decision based on them, I find myself wondering what the values are of those reviewing and whether or not their feedback applies to what I appreciate. Cocolobo gets 5 stars from me for the following reasons: It is by far the nicest place to stay in West End. It is far enough...

This was a return visit to the Cocolobo. Did not disappoint. Bonnie and Ron were the best hosts and this year we toured the island with Christine a guide who works part time for the cruise ships. She took us up island and we learned a lot of the history of the island. The mangrove boat tour was the highlight...
