Zak and Luis are the most charming hosts. I don’t have words to explain how quaint and amazing this space is. We stayed directly across the street and it was a beautiful haven away from the typical West End restaurant. Delicious food and they made us feel life family. I can’t say enough good things. Can’t wait to come back and see you both again.

We had our wedding party dinner at Lilly Pond this past December. The dinner was by far the best meal we had during the entire week on the island. Zac and Luis' hospitality was exceptional. The seabass that was prepared melted in our mouths. We called ahead with the number in our party, and when we arrived, all of the meals were served piping hot. If you are in Roatan's West End, I recommend that you have at least one dinner at Lilly Pond--you will want to come back for more.

This is our second time to stay at the Lily Pond. I really like the second floor room. The room is large and there is a lovely balcony for breakfast or drinks in the evening. It is quiet and peaceful. Zach is a wonderful host and always welcoming. Luis is an artist, both in the kitchen and with his paintings. Just can’t say enough about the food. Absolutely lovely. We have now eaten almost everything on the menu and liked every meal. Yum yum. The outdoor patio is shady. There is usually a breeze in the evening and Zachary plays a variety of music in the evenings. Free internet. They have an absolutely charming young man pick you up at the airport and take you back. I look forward to our next stay with them. Love the peace and quiet. Close to lively spots in the West End. Close to dive shops. And you feel welcomed. Highly recommend.

Cosy little restaurant/hotel with professional service and nice ambiance. The lobster (locally caught) was refreshingly quite tasty, after 2 nights of not being able to find good tasting sea food on the island.

Whether you are in New York, Paris or on the island of Roatan, three elements should combine to make a superb dining experience: delicious fresh food well-prepared, an enhancing atmosphere and attentive service from friendly hosts. At Lily Pond House in West End on Roatan all three come together creating not only a good dining experience but a truly memorable ‘evening experience’ as well. Excellent food, a uniquely inviting atmosphere and your hosts Zack and Luis deliver a wonderful time. I stayed just across the road for a month and had many great meals and nights with them. I also saw the enjoyment and reactions of other people who’d discovered Lily Pond that evening or were returning. Dinner at Lily Pond is a “I gotta come back… and bring my friends” evening. And… the nightly feedings of the amazing fruit bats that gather and gently flutter silently around is unique to Lily Pond House. They delight and intrigue the people who come there and often get to feed the bats themselves. It’s a one of a kind experience to be sure. Like every good restaurant, their menu is not vast but it is always fresh and covers all the bases to please anyone. It features grilled chicken and tasty chops, pastas, tenderloin steak and super fresh seafood. They have jumbo shrimp, lobster and truly the fresh catch of the day from right offshore!) Luis prepares every meal with care and quality ingredients. He will also happily make your dinner in a variety of ways to modify a spice or taste upon request when possible. Over my time in West End I had a variety of their entrées that were all fresh, tasty and enjoyable. Prices at Lily Pond also make your night even better with more than most of their delicious dinners between $10-13. Appetizers like fresh seafood cerviche or caprese salad are about $6. A superb big fresh fisherman’s plate is the only entrée over $20 but it is a seafood lovers guilty pleasure! Beer and cocktails are available and reasonable. There is nothing not to enjoy! Lily Pond has a unique indoor / outdoor building set among tropical trees and plants. It features a small pond, mixed tables and couches and al fresco dining upstairs. It’s a totally chill place to eat, drink and unwind after a day of diving or island fun. The pond was originally installed for therapy for Zues, their disabled shar pei who monitors the premises and soaks up all the endless attention and affection he gets. Smooth jazz and breezes in the open air complete the inviting atmosphere at Lily Pond House. When they hear about the bats, many people come to see them and end up having a great dinner and an exceptional night on the island! If you are on Roatan in West End, you just walk east down the main road toward the submarine and turn left on the first road just past the edge of Half Moon Bay. Just ahead on your right will be Lily Pond House. You will have one of the best evenings of your trip there! My thanks to Zack and Luis for such delicious dinners and relaxed enjoyable evenings at Lily Pond House. NOTE: Lily Pond House also is a wonderful guest house perfectly located for everything you want to do in West End and on Roatan. They have some cozy rooms and suites. Zack and Luis will make your stay feel like a home away from among the tropical trees and garden.
