The hotel is slighty off the beaten path but is within 5 minutes walking distance to the beach. The backside of the hotel faces an inlet from the ocean and is right on the water. You can look out from the 3rd floor where I was and see a fantastic view. The staff is very friendly, the rooms modest but...

My husband and I stayed here after I had stayed in the same room 7 years before -- it has only gotten better with time! Clean, quiet, GREAT amenities! I wouldn't stay anywhere else on the island! For $68/night you get a private room with very clean, modern bathroom and a private deck with a hammock. The room also has...

I stayed 4 nights in a studio at the Posada las Orquideas. It was recommended by friends because of its price and location. Its 5 minutes walk from the main West End street and it is very quiet. There is always someone at the reception from 8:00 till around 20:00 if you have general questions.I was on the top floor,...

Quiet and secluded but only a 5 minute walk from the action of West End. The balcony had a comfy hammock and beautiful view of the ocean. There is a little dock that you can sunbathe and swim from. Some rooms also have a kitchenette, which I should have booked since there is not a restaurant on site, but two...

We have stayed here before and always enjoy the quiet end of West End village. Waterside with dock but no swimming. Rooms are large, all have patios/decks with hammocks. Air conditioning, some rooms with kitchenette, beds very comfortable. As with most places in Roatan you will have a resident gecko to take care of bugs, sometimes making a "chirping" sound...

Amazing little spot with Ocean views. I loved how I was treated here and how clean this hotel is. They really make sure you enjoy your stay. I have stayed here and then to their sister location Arco Iris at the beach. I'm totally hooked on these hotels and will be back again.

We are staying here at the moment in room 16 with three person and are happy that we found this place while searching for an accommodation. It is situated not directly in the center, so it has a quiet and relaxing atmosphere which we really like. But it is only a five minute walk to the roundabout in West End....

Liked this place so much better than the sister hotel Posada Arco Iris. In contrast, the room was lighter and more spacious and quieter. It is a short walk to the hubbub of town, but right next door to Seagrape dive shop. Good price and nice to be able to walk out of your room and see the ocean.

I am staying here for a week, while diving with Coconut Tree Divers. The Posada is located a short walk from town, which is great. Everyone is talking about the barking dogs and party noise in town. You would never know it here, extremely quiet. I spend the afternoons reading on the dock, watching the local boats putter by and...

we stayed 3 weeks here, and 1 week at the other place on half moon bay...very nice, basic, clean, quiet. The beds were not so great and the kitchen a bit lacking but for the price it could not be beat...thanks!
