Came here on a solo trip to dive and stayed at West End Dive Resort for four nights. Eliazar was incredibly helpful in setting everything up and making sure things ran smoothly. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and had a great shower and air conditioning. The diving crew at Splash Inn was also great. Overall, highly recommend and would 100% come back!

Absolutely awesome resort! Owners are amazing. Staff are awesome! We had a little hiccup in the beginning but the owner personally helped us out! Only a short walk to the beach or even better to Happy Harry’s! Love Roatán! Love West End! Will definitely be back!

Just finished a 1 week stay at West End Resort (formally sunset resort). Let's start off with the positives: ·the room was as pictured ·staff went above and beyond to meet our needs especially Jose who helped provide us information on things to do, resturants, and even helping us with an issue in our room. They allowed us to have complementary breakfast even though we we're a few minutes late. ·breakfast was good even though the options were limited · No pressure from staff to buy diving packages or eat at the resort ·Bathroom remained stock with fresh towels and amenities. ·loved the room had the fan in addition to AC that way we didn't have to be under the cold air all night Now the issues/concerns · The west end resort is not "up the road" from the splash inn its sister location that you have to check in at. The walk is "L" shape taking you on the main road for 5 min and down an alley the next 5. ·our room had a smell that went away when the door was left open but reappear ed after any extended time of the door being closed. · Our shower knobs broke. We had to walk back to splash inn to inform someoneas there is no staff at west end resorts nor is there a phone in the room. We informed the owner who stated it would be fixed before we returned but issue continued for 2 more days before we got Jose (aka Joseph) to come right as he was leaving work for the day. ·we had to walk our bags back to splash inn (though we had a ride going). The owner seemed surprised we walked but with no way to communicate it was either that or paying a taxi for 2 minutes to get out for check out. · There is space for a bar and resturant but there was nothing there. So even on days that we wanted to just stay by the pool we had to leave the resort to get food. ·the maids never checked the remotes. Ours had fallen and the back came off exposing a busted battery with acid all over the inside. Would I do it again with a different room yes. With a little more effort this resort would be the place to be compared to locations in the surrounding area. …

Found this place very comfortable. The staff were great. Private location, steps from the West End core. The room was very clean, AC worked great. And got a great deal. I'd go back here and recommend it to friends
