This is a family owned property that is in a great location in West End. It is set back from the main road so you don't hear the street noise. Landscaped property gives you the peaceful island feeling. Adam is a great host with a lot of local knowledge. He recommended a great dive school and several restaurants. Easy walk down a landscaped path to Half Moon Bay beach. Central location makes it easy to get around West End. I would stay here again.

This place is right in the middle of the action. You can't get any closer! My boyfriend and I booked a room at MameTrees at the last minute. We wanted a studio room with a kitchenette. Eventhough beggars can't be choosers we figured we'd try anyway. The owner Diana was very accommodating. We called her a few times the day we were trying to book the room and she was very nice each time eventhough I was probably bugging her. She was able to get us booked in room with a kitchenette. It cost us about $80 a night which I thought was more than fair considering the size of the room and the location of the hotel. The room had a full size kitchen with a large refrigerator and 6 burner gas stove. It also had a patio with a hammock to chill out on. The room was nice and clean. The only thing was the hot water wasn't working well. You had to turn on all the water faucets and and let them run until the hot water came on. When it did you only had a few minutes to take a shower before the water turned cold again. This is the only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. Diana said they would be shopping for a new water heater soon. I do appreciate that she told us about it ahead of time. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay here again! Thank you Diana for being so accommodating.

Suit was comfortable, has all the basic amenities. Cross street to Half Moon Bay, well located to restaurants, grocery store. Good communication with owner who lives next door to the suits. We were for one week, has room clean up each two days, which is perfect. All appliances worked.

MameRoom is a ground floor studio about a 1 minute uphill from the main street of west End. So, for convince, it's unbeatable. The room is spacious, with emphasis on being functional as I was not seeking either luxury amenities or pricing. There is a balcony overlooking a jungle garden. The housekeeping was provided weekly and they did a great job. Lounge chairs are available on the beach in front of the property, which is a nice touch. The owner, Adam, lives next door, so you can be assured that he is vested in the success of your stay. He was in excellent communication before and during my stay.

Great beach side location in West End Village; at first you might think it could be a little noisy but everything quiets down there at midnight. Comfortable bed and clean Suites with modern, well equipped kitchens and excellent wi-fi.
