The location is great. Away from the city enough to relax. Room was great, large and clean with a great view. Beach was great, clean and beautiful. Pool was great, clean and large. Food was mediocre, it wasn't terrible, but definitely something they could work on, slow, and bland, but not terrible. The price/value by American standards were great. This...

Didn't actually stay over night but we ate at the restaurant a number of times for lunch and evening meals - plus we viewed their family suit.... really nice!!!! If you're an expat in ghana you'll love this place!

Our stay at the Elmina Bay Resort more than lived up to expectations. Good-sized, light and clean rooms, each with their own balcony, are only meters from the beach. The open bar/ restaurant overlooking the sea serves good food (the lunch menu is limited at lunch but good in the evening), and whilst there is a wait of about 40...

At first I wanted to return when I saw the small signage directing us to the resort. I wondered can anything good come out from such a small signage. The feeling got worse when I got to the untarred road. Then my wife and kids said let us at least see what they have. We just cannot express in words...

We went as a large family group aged from 8 to 88. We were extremely pleased with our rooms, facilities and bathrooms were of a good standard, tv and air con worked very well. A bit scarey was the notice in the rooms that sometimes they have electricity problems and they use a generator (you'd expect that a hotel has...

Thank you for taking time to give us so much feedback, we appreciate it, and will think hard about the comments you have made. We'll also consider how we might communicate our intentions about generator use more simply, and wrestle with the challenge of making breakfast more interesting without increasing the cost to our guests. Thank you for staying with...

Sun, sea, sand & quiet. That was what my wife and I wanted and that was what we got . . . with great Ghanaian food as well. My wife and I spent a great week here and this place is as great as all the other reviews say. The beach is beautiful and unspoiled and the hotel has it's...

I've now travel the last 3 months in Africa. This hotel is one of the best I have stayed at. Had the wonderful experience to try to be on the beach all alone and I enjoyed to the fullest. The hotel seemed at first very concrete-like, but when I got a little away from it, I got a very different...

Rooms spacious and clean. Beach, views and general environment great although i find the chalets too big and the colour a bit like cement. Should do a better job with the grass around the pool and gardens (more generous watering perhaps). The only serious BUT is the fact that service at the restaurant/bar is unbearably slow. It takes at least...

Thank you for your feedback, we want to know when things don’t go well for our guests, and that is why we currently spend all our time at the hotel training and working with staff. The time taken to deliver food to table is variable; we target 45 minutes, which we hope is reasonable for a la carte meals from...

We have stayed at the Elmina Bay two times with our young son. Both times were very pleasant and relaxing. We definitely plan to go back, and recommend it to all our friends. If you've been to the beach in Ghana, you've probably been bombarded with blaring music, but thankfully there's none of that here. The Elmina Bay is very...

The service was excellent and freindly from the staff and the owners of the hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we wanted. The location felt off the beated track and yet it was easy to get to Elmina. As well as having a swimming pool and sunloungers it is right on the beach. The restaurant has...
