Large room, central location near shopping, restaurants, parks and the Malacon along the water. The good but simple included breakfast was in a very nice restaurant next door. The staff were friendly and helpful. The main problem was with the air conditioner - it was either on, and quite cool, or off, making the room very stuffy. There was no...

Its a simpel hotel with large rooms and small bathrooms. There is free WiFI but its very slow. At the front desk friendly and helpfull people. Breakfast is nextdoor and we asked for good (espresso) coffee and they didn't charge extra for this (what I would accept if they would) location is good right next to the main shopping street....

I had two experiences of dishonesty in two days. One, the front desk clerk told me $4 for laundry, I was charged $16. At the California restaurant next door, which is affiliated, I had a $5 tip attached to an $8 bill, which I caught. The waiter apologise d and gave me back $5 cash. Dishonesty. I speak Spanish, do...

Dear customer, We really appreciate your comments, because they help us to improve our processes and correct them. I have particularly researched your case with our staff, in the different departments, like: front desk, laundry and the restaurant and it has been clear that it was a misunderstood because of the languages barriers, because the laundry service that you thought...

Is it the best hotel in town? Absolutely not. The "hot water" is more of "room temperature" water (maybe a little on the cold side). The toilet was broken, but they took care of it as soon as I reported it. I also called for extra towels and laundry service, and they acted quickly. The lady that cleans the rooms...

We spent 2 nights at this hotel. It is a bit old and faded. but the room was very clean, there was good air conditioning, good hot water, good location and all the staff were fantastic. We appreciated them sorting out bus options for us to travel up the coast as well.

This place does exactly what it says on the tin (except that it isn't in the Las Penas neighborhood!). It's location is great - in the middle of downtown and close to the waterfront. The breakfast next door is great (the cafe is great for lunch too). THe staff are nice and helpful. Ask for a corner room!

This hotel was located a few blocks from the waterfront. The rooms were clean and large and a fine place to sleep. The entryway was a little hard to find and the lobby is very small, almost like a youth hostel over a hotel. The bathrooms were tiny and the shower stall extremely small. Breakfast was in the restaurant next...

This hotel turned out to be a great find after we landed in Guayaquil last night. We have 4 beds in a spacious room on the 4th floor. It is air conditioned and has a refrigerator.the managers are friendly and helpful. Breakfast next door at the cafe is complimentary. I have called this hotel a day prior and was given some prices by the receptionnist, in English (because he told me he speaks English). I confirmed the information with him many times but had a bad feeling at the end of conversation. It turns out he didn't give me the correct price and, in front of his manager, told...

We only stayed one night, but this was a perfect pick for us. We arrived super early from our night bus (6am) and they let us check in right away. We slept for a bit before heading out. In hindsight, sight seeing during mid-day was probably a bad idea. It's way too hot. But anyway, we had a roadside family...
