Overall enjoyed our stay in the apartment offered by Hotel Angelo D’Oro, however would prefer to stay in their hotel next time we are in Rovinj due to service of staff mainly focused on hotel guests and rooms. The location of our apartment was perfect, in a little back street (so quiet) and overlooking the ocean, taking a nice stroll...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights (September 8-9, 2016) and could not have been happier with Hotel Angelo d'Oro! Perfect location in old town, friendly hospitality, delightful breakfast in the beautiful garden setting - and our room with lots of space and a nice view out to the sea (Room 305). The hotel was easy to find...

From its location on a cobbled street in old town to the charm of the outdoor seating areas and the warmth of the staff, we loved everything about this quaint hotel in the heart of old town Rovinj. Be sure to discover the small top-floor balcony with room for 3-4 people and a stunning view of the Adriatic; it is...

This was our second trip to Rovinj. We wanted to be in the old town and we needed parking. Angelo D'Oro turned out to be a perfect choice. It is located just one street in back of the market. We had a fabulous room, # 105. You enter into a small foyer, off it, an updated bathroom, a lovely bedroom...

The hotel is a tad bit aged but that's to be expected for a location in the heart of the old city. Rooms were quite big and the garden terrace is a must hit. Breakfast had fresh fresh pastries and coffee so that sufficed. If you're driving to Rovinj they have a private lot free of charge and will shuttle...

Great location in old town but quiet. Lots of character. Rooms were very nice. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Would definitely recommend both the hotel and Rovinj. We could walk to everything--the beach, the harbor, shopping, city center, the market.

A delight staying here in the old town. The rooms are modern, boutique style with beautiful bed linen. The hotel itself is the former bishops palace. There is a lovely courtyard oasis for breakfast which is very peaceful and fantastic in the morning with the birds tweeting away. There is a hot tub i think or a place for drinks...

We spent there just one night but it was very good. I truly recommend to have drinks on the inside terrace and maybe some spa time! The room was clean, I wouldn't say big but it was fair enough.. Bathroom also was clean but the shower wasn't working really good and it was truly small.. Over all we did have...

A high-standard-hotel. The location is great. In Old town, in the more calm and quiet area, but still, just 2 minutes from the city beach, and 4 minutes to the harbour, from where you can take a boat to one of the islands. Close to everything! Shopping starts from just outside the hotel, and 3 minutes to the larger shopping...

Anazing place in the heart of the old town. Rooms are decorated with old style, rustic furniture. We had view to the narrow alley and to the sea. Breakfast is served outside in the garden terrace. Very helpful and friendly staff. Just perfect stay!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A historic building in a cobblestone street leading to the church of St Euphemia and steps away from Rovinj's main square has been carefully renovated and transformed into a charming small hotel, where traditional features are combined with up to date facilities to ensure a unique and comfortable stay. The seamless blend of tradition and modernity is accented throughout the hotel, which boasts finely restored antique furniture, centuries old stone walls and exposed beams, as well as wi fi and air conditioning. Sumptuous breakfast is served on the shaded patio behind the hotel and in the stone-paved reception and lounge area; at night this turns into a lounge bar where guests can have a quick drink or sample wines from our small but well-stocked wine cellar and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Our 23 standard rooms, three family rooms and one suite are decorated in tranquil earthy tones, with elegant wrought iron beds, yet each is one of a kind, with hand-picked antique wardrobes and dressers. All rooms have modern en suite bathrooms with bathtubs or showers, air-conditioning and free wi fi. ... more   less
