Amazing place, amazing hotel, what a view! We had a water facing balcony over the pool, it was perfect. Nice room, nice shower, bed, great big breakfast. 7 minute nice walk along the water to town.

Last minute package with Thomson and no recent reviews, so I did not expect to much of the Amfora. All staff were excellent, nothing was to much trouble. The hotel is a little tired but the ugly concrete 70's type shopping boardwalk on the sea side of the hotel makes the Amfora look scruffy. Inside the hotel all public areas...

Stayed at the Amfora as part of a package trip picked up 10 days beforehand. Had never been to Croatia before and was a bit wary of what to expect but everything was superb. A large room easily did for 3 of us, and the extra for a sea view was well worth it. Everything was cleaned each day (at...

We arrived at this hotel on the 2nd Aug and stayed for a week. (half board) We checked in and went straight to our room to drop our cases of. Myself, my husband and daughter stayed in one room together and there was plenty of space. The bathroom was clean and included plenty of towels for us. It was just...

We went to Hotel Ampora & had our reservations about it after looking at the reviews but thought "in for a penny etc". We had a 45 minute journey from Pula Airport, booked in efficently by reception & given room 219. This was an excellent room, very clean, nice big bed, good space in wardrobe for clothes, air conditioned with...

The free (yes free - increasingly unusual these days) air conditioning was just one of the many things that made our stay at this friendly small hotel such an enjoyable stay. We stayed here as part of a Thomsons package in early July 2011. The weather was very hot - never below 25C during the night, so the air con...

I'm going to try to give a evenly balanced review to help anyone out that is choosing whether to go to Rabac and to the Hotel Amfora. I'll start with Rabac itself which is one of the nicest and most beautiful places that I have visited, the seas are beautiful, very clear but can be very cold, so be prepared!...

I travelled to Rabac with my boyfriend when we were both eighteen. Rabac is lovely for families or older couples, but there is nothing to do for teens. As for the hotel. The room was large, spacious, well kept and nice and cool thanks to the air con. The staff were lovely, and the rep was very helpful in advising...
