We had booked this Pension directly with the owner, as we wanted a sea-view room, and these didn't seem to be available when booked with online travel agencies. We arrived in Rab by Bus and followed the signed route to the Hotel, which took about 10 minutes. As we had booked half-board (the only way to get a sea-view room...

Pansion Tamaris is on a very quiet bay 20 minutes walk along the coastal path to Rab town. Although part of the area immediately behind the bay, near the car park, was a little scruffy, the bay was an ideal quiet spot to stay and the walk into Rab was a delight. Service in the restaurant was a little strange...

This is a really pleasant place to stay, very near the historic centre of Rab Town. Advertised as a 'pension' this is more of a small hotel, with rather bland but spotlessly clean rooms. The best feature is the roofed terrace on the ground floor (where food is served and drinks can be taken at night) which overlooks a small...

Great place to stay. Clean, well appointed, quiet. Nice breakfast in the morning, It's a short walk to the old town (which we did late at night and it was fine) but there are closer shops (grocery, pharmacist etc). The host was very obliging. I agree with anawind's comment that the 3 stars are real (not always the case in...

We stayed in Tamaris over the weekend and were very satisfied with the experience. It's a small, three-star hotel, but as far as three-star hotels go in Croatia, these stars are for real (we've also stayed in Hotel International located in the heart of old Rab town, whose categorisation is the same but (apart form the location and the fact...

It was not hard to choose the weekend-getaway destination on Island of Rab. Unfortunatelly almost all of the island's facilities and infrastructure are just the same as they were 30 years ago when I visited the island of Rab a couple of times during summer as a kid with my parents... But on the other hand, Tamaris was a small...

Pension Tamaris isn't located in the heart of Rab town, but is a 10-15 minute walk along the water. The room was good sized, as was the bathroom. The view was lovely! They have parking, which was great! It was a little difficult to find, so follow the signs carefully. The A/C worked fantastic!

We had four nights here, as part of an 11 night stay in the Kvarner Gulf, flying with Ryanair from Stansted to Riejka. The flight from Stansted landed in perfect time for us to catch the Valbiska - Lopar ferry from Krk to Rab, saving us a long drive around the Gulf, and a 2 hour cruise to Rab made...

Went to Rab for some relaxing. A bit off the beaten track. We arrived by bus so it was a bit of a mission to get from town to the hotel the first time. After that, it was great. Can walk along the boardwalk from town to the hotel... boardwalk is not lit and it gets dark early... but you...
