The coach trip from Pula airport took one hour (only one other drop off). We stayed in a premium twin room which was large with plenty of storage space. The bed was comfortable and so big that it could have benefitted from a wider duvet. Everything in the room (and as far as we could see throughout the hotel) was brand new. The main pool was a little on the small side for such a large hotel. There was evening entertainment. The staff were friendly and efficient. We were especially pleased with the reception staff who printed documents for us. Food at breakfast and dinner was plentiful, varied and good quality. Soft drinks and coffee etc were free at these meals., We would have liked the option of lighter snacks at lunchtime. The grill bar was limited. At the back of the hotel is a stretch of woodland about 100 metres deep before the narrow, stony beach. A ten minute stroll along the pedestrianised, well lit beach path takes you into the pretty old town. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

Hi, We spend a week at this hotel in July 2021. Room was clean, food was good with plenty of choices, minus for bad quality of soft drinks. One big minus for letting guests reserve sunbeds eventhough they do not use them, all sunbeds were occupied from very early hours in the morning and people didnt even come out for entire day. I talkad to pool guys and even to some managers and their excuse is that they cannot move personal belongings. Due to this my family will not come back to this hotel, I am not person who will wake up at 4 to reserve 10 sunbeds so that I have one on every pool. To all of you who do that I can just say, shame on you and do not be so selfish.

Second experience at a Valamar hotel, and will always be our choice for holidays in Croatia. The hotel was full but still comfortable, spacious, no lines for restaurant, and maybe some rivalry to get a deck chair around the pools but usually not a problem. Ideal location, freshwater pools with slides, short walk from town but still in a green area. Rooms have enough space, very clean and modern. Bravo Valamar. We'll be back.

Had a fantastic family holiday even in these strange times of Covid. Hygiene and safety is to the highest standard at this hotel. This hotel is situated 15mins gentle walk into the town, or option to get the tourist train/bus from just outside the hotel. 3 pools on site, one including a lazy river and then additional water slides meant that our children always had something to do. The beach is 2 mins walk away and has a designated area for hotel users. Breakfast and dinner food included in half board package was to a very high standard and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Lots of food being cooked in front of your eyes so definitely fresh. Lunch was available at the snack bar was good for burgers/ice creams etc as additional cost. No drinks are included in the half board package apart from coffee/tea/juices at breakfast which I felt was unusual for half board. You would normally get one drink included at dinner. The soft drinks for kids were very expensive. Normal prices and lots of options for wine/alcohol. Kids facilities in the hotel were amazing, best we’ve seen in a hotel. 2 kids clubs catering for up to 6’s and then up to teenagers. Soft play area and massive games room including large tv screens playstations/Xbox’s. All areas supervised by staff but you are more than welcome to stop too. Day entertainment programme never too invasive, you knew where to find it if you wanted to be involved. Evening entertainment varied although seemed to be on a 1 week timetable, so for our stay we saw the same shows twice. This may have been restricted due to Covid. Even has an outdoor cinema 1 night a week. This was a nice touch to offer but the hotel should make sure all films shown are family suitable. We had bohemian rhapsody one night, great film but not suitable for younger members of our family. Would definitely be visiting this hotel chain again. Would suggest the option for all inclusive be made available.

The stuff is super friendly and helful. Music and entartement in the evening was nice but too loud and long. Rooms are clean but rather small. Organisation could be better, though. For example, there was no control who's coming into the restaurant during the first could days of our stay. There were hidden costs, too, like we needed to pay for the sunbeds on the hotel's beach. Surprisingly, it was allowed for the outside people to use it for free, so you would end up paying for the sunbed while someone is putting his beach towel right beside you.
