A nice hotel and definitely a step up from some of the more hotels we had stayed in in Yunnan. - best shower I'd had in a week. Location is a little away from where the manic Lijiang nighttime action is and that is certainly a plus. Only downside is that the walls/ceiling appear to be very thin, so if... More

We had a wonderful room that fitted all four of us comfortably. Down a little lane so quiet in the evenings yet not to far from the centre of the old town. The management was extremely helpful and made our kids right at home.

Lijiang is a very touristic location and during the main season there are crowds of tourist passing by the endless rows of the shops and those shops are obviously trying to attract customers by (mostly) using terrible loud music. Since the main square and four streets, going out of it,... More

We had a great experience at the Yunjin Yaju Courtyard Hotel. The place is clean and cozy, and the architecture is something unique, with almost all rooms facing the inner yard. Wi-Fi was fairly good. The all personnel was super nice to us, in particular Sue, such a nice person and she could speak English, which in Lijiang is truly... More

This is a stunningly beautiful courtyard hotel and the owners did their utmost to make ones stay memorable. However Lijiang was wet and cold over the four to five days of our stay so maybe we were unprepared and had to shelter for a lot of the time under the covers of the lovely giant bed. Sophie who speaks excellent... More

We booked this accommodation in Lijiang for 4 nights snd totally loved it! The location is central but quiet. The staff is unbelievably nice. The rooms have just been renovated and the bed was wonderful to sleep in: just the right sofntess and comfort. The bedsheet were clean and dreamy. The decoration is classical Chinese with a modern quality. We... More
