We stayed here during a motorbike tour with Tibetmoto. Lovely hotel centrally located in the old town. Wonderful courtyard and decoration. The buffet breakfast was a mix of Chinese and western. Highly recommended!

Staying in Dali a hotel like this one is a must. A very charming place, centrally located in an old building. Its feeling chinese - not like one of the boring standard hotels which can be everywhere in the world. Hidden in a small street (downside: Cars cannot go there so you have to carry your luggage from the parking)... More

The hotel is in a beautiful old house in the centre of the old town, very comfortable for restaurants. Some rooms are around the main lovely courtyard, others face less prestigious area but still have a style. The interior is nice, the bathroom is small but new. No hairdryer. Wifi works slowly but decently. The drawback is a staff who... More

This hotel is located in the old city of Dali. It is a very old building that has been restored. The rooms are set around a courtyard which is cool and inviting. The rooms are small and clean. The bathrooms are modern with glass walls separating it from the bedroom. The walls are thin so it is possible to hear... More

We took this hotel since we had a decent experience with Fairyland in Kunming, and we were not dissatisfied here too. The hotel resembles an old building, low and with a central garden (and maybe it truly is old!). The room was large (one weird thing was that the bathroom is a glass–walled room–inside–the–room, so that if you have to... More

This hotel/B&B is well located in the centre of Dali old town. We stayed one night and it was fine for that. The rooms are small but well furnished, comfortable, clean and have modern showers/toilets. Note walls are thin so expect it can get noisy depending on your neighbours. Do not expect luxury but at 220 RMB per night incl... More

Centrally placed but up a quiet alley this beautiful hotel was in a perfect location. It was quiet noisy when people came in late at night but this was only brief. It was quite cold, heaters would have been welcome, but there were electric blankets on the beds. I would certainly stay here again.

It is a lovely hotel right at the old town. The staff were courteous and efficient. However, we did not get any sleep. We could hear every conversation of our next door neighbour and what was worst was that we could hear them clear their throat and spit (which they did quite a lot with amazing vigor). So, I will... This tiny hotel is hardly visible until you enter the doors. A rather unimposing entrance off a small street leads into a most charming hotel around a central courtyard. This is Bai Folk House style, " Three houses and one screen, four sides and one court, - six harmonies of spring" - quaint with wooden bolts to the doors !!... More
