Recently spent weekend in Birmingham for a family matter. The Westin was a great place to stay. Convenient to the airport, the convention center, and lots of eating establishments in the Uptown area. The front desk associate made me feel like he genuinely cared about me. On the other hand, when I checked out at 3:30am to catch an early...

It's a little ways from the airport, but toy should still take the shuttle. The rooms are fine, the gym was pretty good. The dining options in the walking distance were just ok. Not really a good area for waking, so sorbet plan to stay in or Uber it, it's really cheap.

I struggled to decide which hotel to stay while in Birmingham. Reading thru the unfavorable reviews on Trip Advisor, the Westin seemed to have the least severity in the concerns (ie no roaches, theft, etc). However, expecting a clean bathroom must mean my standards are too high. The bottom of the shower curtain was lined with brown stains, plus there...

This is a great place to stay. Every thing was great. We parked the car and didn't need it again until we went home. Every thing we needed we could walk . The beds will make you never want to go home. The pool area was nice too. They have a bar area at the pool, but we took a...

The Westin Birmingham is a nice, new hotel that provides a pleasant enough experience. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. I did miss, however, having any of the 'perks" for being a loyal Starwood member. There is no club lounge, no breakfast or drink coupons and no extras at all. That was disappointing. The hotel is walking...

I loved this location. I was in town to attend a jazz festival, so it was close to the park and had all the luxuries you would expect of a Westin. Plus the staff were so welcoming and accommodating, especially considering the size of the crowd. i will be going back in June 2016 and will stay at the same...

Came to town to celebrate my son's wedding and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and location. The rooms were very nice and they accommodated our requests for my son's honeymoon suite. The parking and lobby staff were great! There is a Pub attached and we were slightly disappointed that the closing time was 11PM on a weekend.

3 night stay for family wedding; good valet service, but call 5 minutes before leaving in car; next to Uptown area for a variety of restaurants and bars; fast check in; comfortable bed; good size double room; rain drop shower head with separate wand; breakfast restaurant in premises pricey, and just okay, but don't know location of alternative choices; all...

I was disappointed with my stay at the Westin. Considering this is the only 4 star hotel in downtown Birmingham, I was very unimpressed with my stay. The hotel is dirty and starting to look very run down, even though it's only a couple years old. The hallways don't look like they have been vacuumed since the hotel opened. What...

The Westin is always great. You can't go wrong with this hotel chain. Always impressed and loved the familiar smell when I walk in the door. Seems silly to say that but it's true... Location was perfect if you have to stay in Birmingham. :-) Great resteraunts nearby too!
