(First: Thinking of squeezing in a day or two in Yangshuo? I say: Yes! Go for it! I thought this area was stunning.) Tea Cozy: Located a little outside the city, this place was charming, quiet, clean, with a beautiful garden and lovely food right on-premise, really warm service, good Wifi, and a lovely view from my balcony. Little extras...

We stopped there for food during a tour of Yangshuo. The place is fabulous; the people are so pleasant (and English speaking); and their food tastes amazing -- and is well cooked. this is like a little oasis in the middle of the Chinese countryside. I highly recommend it

We stopped one afternoon at this charming place for lunch. It was like a little oasis, beautiful gardens with koi and turtles in the pond, lovely decoration, and tables where we could sit outside. The staff were super nice and spoke english well. They had a large menu and I had one of the best noodle/vegi soups ever in my...

I hadn't planned on spending a whole week at the Tea Cozy but I simply couldn't leave. From the moment I walked in I realized that I had found somewhere very special. Everyone was so warm and welcoming and my fabulous room, 303, immediately became my home. The Tea Cozy is not far from the commercial bustle of Yangshuo city,...

This was our second time at the Tea Cozy Hotel near Yangshou. We visited four years ago and at that time found the Tea Cozy to be a very friendly and comfortable place to stay in a beautiful rural area. Curry and his staff welcomed us back and we immediately felt at home. The rooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully...

We were lucky enough to be some of the very first guests at the new Tea Cozy Resort, which is up the road from the Tea Cozy Boutique Hotel. From what we saw of both, the resort is a great choice for families with more space for kids to run around and explore (no pool fence though and stroller access...

This was the friendliest and most accommodating hotel I've ever stayed at in China. It is quaint, cozy, with tons of charm. Two families traveled together with 4 kids ages 5-15 and they planned all of our activities for us and did a magnificent job. The area is just beautiful and seeing rural China is fascinating. The food is both...

Our multigenerational family spent 2 nights at the Tea Cozy in late March. The hotel itself is a nicely designed but not overly fancy place. What makes the Tea Cozy special is the people who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. Special thanks to Amy who set up a neat boat cruise from...

I am absolutely in love with this hotel! It was calm and so relaxing. It looks fabulous, and is extremely cozy. It is a small hotel, so when we were greeted, we were given the full attention of the staff, as well as the watermelon smoothie. Our tour guide took us on a bike ride, and we got to see...

After reading good reviews we booked the hotel on agaoda.com and got a confirmation. The next day the hotel contacted us saying that actually their hotel had been fully booked before I made the booking. They offered us a free upgrade to their sister hotel which was recently opened. We could find no information about this newly opened hotel, no...
