Overall this property was very good - large grounds with well maintained gardens, comfortable rooms with good beds and large well appointed bathrooms, good breakfast and helpful staff. The downside was that there is no air conditioning in the rooms and at night it gets hot. Opening the windows invites in noisy mosquitos. There was a portable fan but it...

Delightful hotel with large rooms in individual cabins with large bathrooms and sitting areas. Good breakfast. Excellent swimming pool. Friendly staff. In a quiet part of town. The only potential problem is that it is a bit of a walk to the town and restaurants.

We stayed four nights in a superior room and were very happy guests. Very comfortable bed, huge bathroom with excellent hot water. Quiet at night. The design is charming with much effort in the garden and hotel layout to create lots of private spaces. Breakfast excellent and the pool was perfectly clean - we saw two or three people cleaning...

Lovely quaint hotel with excellent friendly and helpful service. Loved the outdoor shower option in our accommodation. Pool is also a nice feature. Slightly long walk into the town but not too far. Would definitely recommend. We picked up some very good day tours from here too.

Wow! What's not to love? Nothing in San Pedro de Atacama is a Kempinski but design, staffing, room comfort, sleep comfort, lobby, dining room, pool, location and security are all first world and first rate. Kudos to staff and management, too, for an experienced, pleasant, efficient--not to mention multi-multi-lingual team. Our home in The Atacama.

Spent 3 nights here while hiking and touring the Atacama Desert. At first glance the property looks nice, but spending time here you will see it is well worn. Their property in Puerto Natales (see separate review) was much nicer, IMO My room in the 300 number section was large but dark even with the lights on. The front door...

I stayed at the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. The location is off the main road caracoles so you have to take a 10-15min walk to get to the town center where all the restaurants and tour agencies are. (Take a flash light at night, it gets very dark). The rooms although quite basic (they don't have AC)...

I stayed at Altiplanico Atacama at the end of November 2016. I had a great stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was also spacious, clean and modern. Breakfast was delicious and all the lunches we had there were equally delicious, fresh and healthy! The staff was very nice, especially the girls who...

I stayed here in October 2015. It was paid for as part of a race that we were participating in and otherwise, would not have stayed in such an expensive place. It was really tastefully decorated and the rooms were very nice and clean - especially the showers. The breakfast in the morning was also really good and had tons...

We stayed three nights in this jewel in the desert. Our adobe villa was spacious and unique, complete with adobe furniture and both an indoor and outdoor shower. Although there are many nearby restaurants, we had several meals in the excellent restaurant. The staff were delightful and very accommodating, including preparing a pre-sunrise breakfast on a morning when we had...
