From the first moment, when we had arrived through the inlets of the lake to our beautiful villa, we were made to fell special - the bed itself was decorated with flowers and we were able at once to go to the infinity pool looking out to the entrance and the extensive gardens. It was a perfect centre from which...

Just stunning and .. wow...! Entrance is on the lake side, with your pirogue, through the floating gardens. The villas are absolutely fantastic, very spacious and charming. Cleanliness is impeccable. The swimming pool is nice and from there you have a nice view on the sunset. The staff is amazingly nice, welcoming, professional and caring. Absolute recommendation. Wifi again is...

Four and a half stars may be about right as there were a few lapses with the food (the main courses on our third and last night were not up to standard: but do give the Myanmar set menu a try) but I am giving the fifth star for two reasons: it is a simply delightful setting (and Lake Inle...

We stayed here for three nights. The place was made more spectacular as we arrived by boat which gave one an overall view of the resort. Our room was quite convenient to the restaurant and to the jetty for our trips on the lake. There is a excellent restaurant with an extensive menu. Make sure you get a table close...

Arrival by boat is great and check in was smooth. I had cabin 18 which is closest to reception which makes the in room internet work. Room and bathroom are generous size though the wooden frame around bed is a nuisance making getting in and out of bed akin to an assault course. Mini bar is free for first usage...

rriving at this hotel is kinda special. There’s a long narrow channel through fields. It’s occasionally covered with floating vegetation and the boat pushed through it all serenely. When you arrive at the pool fronting the hotel the boat engine is turned off and a man jumps on to row the boat in silently. It’s an absolutely joy to arrive...

Great hotel, wonderful peaceful location. We had a cottage suite facing the lake, with our own water buffalo in the field below our cottage. Fresh fruit each day in the cottage, fresh flowers in a bowl on the doorstep. Delightful, non intrusive service from the staff. Free spirits and snacks in the room. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Most...

Inle Lake was an unforgettable part of our honeymoon in Myanmar and our stay at Villa Inle enhanced our experience. The resort is beautiful, with lush grounds and cabin-like rooms with floor to ceiling windows, huge, comfortable beds, indoor and outdoor living areas and huge bathrooms. The pool is stunning and the breakfast is abundant with an amazing range (given...

Beautiful location with huge rooms situated in individual stilted villas with their own balcony with lake views. Rooms contain everything you could want and have large bathrooms with separate shower and toilet. Level of service is exceptional and on this occasion the room had twin beds which I do not like, and on request they immediately sent two girls to...

You can arrive by narrow boat on Inle Lake or by vehicle. Bungalow type rooms on stilts. Airconditioning very good. No black out curtains that means an early morning rise. Nice pool. Nice restaurant where you can eat inside or outside near the pool. Again a huge number of menu options but the food is very poor in his only...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Villa Inle Resort & Spa is the ideal choice for those seeking a unique experience, away from mass-market tourism. All villas are designed to harmoniously blend in with the natural environment. Featuring hand-selected local paintings and antiques, high wooden ceilings, and spacious living areas and bathrooms, they radiate a sensation of luxury and comfort. From your villa, you can watch as fishermen glide by on the lake,Buffaloes cooling themselves off in shallow water and flocks of migratory and native birds take off from the surrounding treetops. To enhance the sense of seclusion and privacy and also reduce our hotel impact on the environment, we have deliberately kept the number of rooms in the hotel to a minimum.
