Simply the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed in. We were there in February which meant that the mornings and evenings are cold but the days are hot. It's important to know this in advance so that with the proper clothes you can really enjoy being at Inle in the winter. Although there is no heat in the rooms...

We stayed 4 nights in this charming hotel in one of the standard rooms but they also have bungalows. If you want a bungalow you have to book directly by email as booking.com only propose the standard rooms. The rooms and the bungalows are located in a very nice garden. We had a small terrace and it was perfect to...

We stayed here for three nights in January. We chose it for the good reviews and the swimming pool, but didn't use it as it was a bit chilly and also we visited the hot spa! The room was a chalet in the garden with a lovely sitting out area. There was no fridge or tea making facilities in the...

I was in a standard room which was pretty open to the elements - wire mesh instead of glass panes in some of the windows so it was really cold at night. As rooms are in the garden there are a lot of mosquitos so there are quite a few in the room. The owner did offer to move me...

We were so glad we didn't opt for one of the more expensive, but attractive, places on the lake itself. It was so nice to be part of the Burmese community in Nyaung Shwe itself and it is still easy to get to the lake. I would thoroughly recommend staying in this town and this guest house. It was clean,...

Just spent 4 nights in this hotel and really recommend it. It's located in a quiet street, by one of the many canals, but not the main one (better as the main canal is busy and noisy). The rooms are very comfortable and value for money: hot water shower, safe, comfortable bed. The staff is well managed, and extremely helpful....

It has been a great stay as our bungalow was clean, the garden well taken care of and the staff and family very customer oriented! They helped us to arrange a lot of things and showed with small things how much they cared about their customers. Also the location is very nice as not too far from city and quiet...

Tucked away near the canal, but easy walking distance to town, Princess Garden is so peaceful, green and friendly, The manager and staff are all lovely, the bungalows are surrounded by gardens and are far enough away from each other to allow privacy. Western style breakfast, served in the lovely dining area overlooking the pool and garden, is great (though...

Beautiful, relaxing, hotel run by a friendly couple. The comfortable bungalow was surrounded by the pretty gardens and overlooked nearby village and countryside. The rooms are a little rustic but it's nice to see the traditional woven materials. Blankets were provided in case it was a cold night. Each bungalow has a terrace with chairs and it was nice to...

We stayed for five nights here in November 2016 and thought it was lovely. The room was very clean and we really liked being tucked away among the palm trees. The large pool is fabulous - the perfect place to cool after a day exploring. The hotel itself is situated in a very peaceful setting on the edge of the...
