After several bad experiences in São Paulo, I finally found Grand Hyatt. The hotel has modern infrastructure, comfortable and spacious rooms. The staff is always trying to provide an excellent stay, looking to satisfy all special requests. The restaurants have great choice, including sushi, and breakfast has excellent choice. Either for business or for leisure this is my hotel of choice!
Nice hotel, attentive staff, interesting design everywhere. Location is not great, i.e. no restaurants, bars or convenience stores nearby, something that gets amplified by the fact that the only on-site store is Granado (soap & parfum - they provide the hotel's amenities). Restaurant and bar both close at 11:00pm and then you get stuck with a wine list that features precisely three (3) reds. One of them is Argento Malbec (Argentina) which I did order and, quite sincerely, wouldn't want my worst enemy to have it. Wine was clearly chosen because Food & Beverage staff are friendly with the Brazilian distributors or got bribed by them. For something that is 1 in 3 it is VERY, VERY BAD. One more thing: walls are paper thin. You'll be delighted if the room next door is occupied by a couple busy at work but disgusted (as I was) by the sound of someone noisily defecating at 7:00am. …
My stay at the Grand Hyatt Sao Paulo was overall amazing. From the check-in process, the room and the food nothing was missing; one of the best customer service experience in São Paulo. I strongly recommend this hotel and will be back soon.
Nice hotel facilities, spacious and comfortable rooms, great spa. The room I stayed in has a wonderful view of the bridge. I’ve noticed that the check-out process can be time consuming due to the large number of guests and few receptionists
Staff was friendly. Clean hotel, very good breakfast. Restaurant is a bit expensive. Conveniently located close to shopping Morumbi, and several office complex buildings. Granado products at the bathroom are really good.
Hotel was clean and staff were friendly when engaged. The hotel seemed to struggle when I asked for menial items like Ice, extra water, etc. or maybe it was because they were busy the day I checked in. The location of the hotel is good and I love the view of the bridge from my room. However, given I was charged R150 to have a guest visit my room, I will definitely think twice about staying here when I know the JW Marriott just opened literally down the street.
Overall excellent stay and very courteous staff. Food and beverages of a very high standard, spa and gym good, room excellent and comfortable. Small areas for improvement: breakfast and dinner service - long waits for order taking and getting ordered beverages. Requests to the main reception desk had to be repeated several times before being attended to, not up to standard. Rooms are not very well isolated for the noise, but my neighbours were quiet so this did not matter. Outside noise was well isolated. But all in all a very good experience.
This is our fourth time at the Grand Hyatt and the service is always very consistent. We feel at home there! Perfect combination, great staff, facility is beautiful, location is great, close to everything and easy in and out access to the highway.
Despite football distraction for the staff, the staff paid attention. The bedroom furniture, while good, is getting dated. The breakfast seems to have been trimmed a little. I missed the hot oats/porridge and avocado for my toast. But, despite that, Hyatt in sao Paulo is one of the beh good places to stay
The last time I was at this property was in 2020. Well, I came back again to support an event. The property is still that 5-Star Gem! I can't say enough how well this property is operated. They put their guests first before profit. I've seen it and I also had the pleasure of sitting down with the co-owner and talking about the Formula 1 race that I will be supporting 11/11-11/13. Unfortunatly, I couldn't extend my stays due to the property being at 100% occ. But, I will be back next year 3x..
