Check in process was smooth and fast. Arthur at the reception helped a lot with early check in - all that you need after a long flight. Location is perfect. Rooms are decent, bed size small for a twin room for American standard - overall very good option for the price.
They received me with a great service, carried my bags and gave me an early check in. The person that received me was very polite. The location is great. The room was clean and nice. I recommend the hotel. Specially if you in São Paulo for business this is a good choice
Absolutely very poor quality/price balance, but friendly staff I chose this hotel as it was decided for a party for a wedding in the city of Sao Paulo for about 30 persons, so there should be a discount of 10% for this package, which unfortunately I did not receive, even though I mentioned the party while making my booking. During the booking process, via email, the hotel wanted me to disclose all the information of my credit card (number, expiration date, CVC code), all via telephone or email, in order to be able to make my reservation, they could not send me a link for the payment or do it via their website. Meaning all the information of my card would be either said by me to the reservations department via phone or send by me via email. Just normal email, no link, nothing. After contacting my credit card provider, I was advised that I was not insured in case of misuse of my information, so they strongly advise me to do not disclosed all this information of my card via the phone or via email, there should be a secure way to do it, via link or their website, for instance, and I explained this in written to the hotel, but there was no way to arrange this, therefore I missed also a better rating then booking via their website. (The 10% discount of the package they would not give me anyway, but they offered me a better rating then via their website, for instance, making the breakfast complimentary to my stay, which was for my daughter and I, so 70, Reais (12,75 Euros) per person, per breakfast (x 3 nights = 76,50 Euros only on breakfast!). So, yes, I had to pay this as well since I didn’t want to give my card verbally or on an email. In the end, I had to pay the full price of their website, no party discount, breakfast paid additionally, because I was not willing to giving all my credit card info (what a strange way to do business!!). My package was about 25% extra costs then the other party guests, but way too expensive for the quality of the hotel and comparing to what other guests (from the wedding party) paid, since they had the 10% discount and breakfast included. I stayed 3 nights, 2 persons, you can imagine the difference does count. I wanted to stay at this hotel since everyone from the group was staying there. Big mistake. Financial aspect aside, let’s go to the quality of the hotel: The toilet and sink of my room were blocked. Had to call someone to unblock, despite the dirtiness and the mess in the room, it continue blocked. Could hardly look outside, they don’t clean the windows (picture submitted with this review). A big lamp broken and twisted on the room (304). The first day of the breakfast, the best day of the breakfast service, there was a lot of options for Brazilian snacks, the typical Minas cheese and some typical cakes, Fuba, etc. Second night, no more cake and only one type of cheese (Mussarella, no more typical Brazilian Queijo de Minas)… It decreased tremendously from one day to the other, I asked and the staff said they no longer had avaliability in the house. The coffee: please check attached pictures. I though it was never possible to get bad coffee in Brazil but voilá, the coffee was worse then the Cafe Americano you see around the word. A real tea with dark color, nothing to do with coffee, simply horrible and tasteless. I advised the staff and they changed. It does get worse, I tried steak during lunch and my perception was that the chef let the entire pot of salt fall into the pan. It was not eatable. I complained and the waiter removed the price from my bill, the entire plate was back to the kitchen. I left after my 2 nights stay, I gave the hotel a chance to make it up to me since I would be coming back in a few days, just before my last night in Sao Paulo before flying back home (the reservation was already made). I received a very nice email from the front desk manager saying he would get back to me on my next stay, offering me what he called an “upgrade”: this upgrade is a higher floor, at an exactly same room as I paid for, just higher: the same amount of square meters, all the same as my previous room, but with complimentary slippers and bathrobe. That’s all. It was stunning a hotel calling this an “upgrade”. I didn’t take it. After all this, I was not offered complimentary breakfast or absolutely anything else then removing a small meal I had. That was it. My advise: this hotel needs new management. Even though the staff is friendly, the price-quality is absolutely horrendous. You can pay the same price staying in a very nice hotel. Avoid this one.…
We had a small dinner after a long day. The food was amazing and the staff over the top. Felipe took care of us and took care of every detail, providing a great service with a very friendly demeanor. We definetely will stay here again. Highly recommend!
Great location for business and leisure with very good breakfast. A special thank you note for Mr. Rodrigo Ramalho, the reception manager, who had taken care of us in a very professional way. He helped us to solve a travel issue which the travel agency was not able to solve. We would really recommend you the Blue Tree Premium Paulista hotel and next time we will come back to São Paulo we will definitely stay here again.
Having read reviews about this hotel I expected 3 star basic, and this is exactly what I got. I was only staying for one night, so it was adequate. Arriving later in the evening we did check in quickly and got to the room. It was clean but old. Everything looked like it could benefit from renewing, refreshing or just revamped. Bathroom had seen better days but what could have been easily improved was the towels. Practically thread bare, and the bedding was thin and worn, just disappointing. Windows were extremely dirty and balcony door was sealed shut for Health and Safety Purposes. It didn’t make the room feel comfortable and definitely not relaxing. Gym was very basic and again in need of replacing machines and an update would be beneficial. Breakfast was also basic. Bread choice was the best thing about it but there was little in the way of appetising items. It was breakfast and nothing else. I took what I needed to fuel up but I didn’t feel treated at all which as a tourist in a foreign country I like to ‘want to try local food’ this didn’t happen here. Good thing – staff are friendly and helpful Would I stay again - No…
This was our second stay at the hotel and we will not be back. The room was dirty and the bathroom was also dirty and badly ventilated to the point of having constant odours due to the dampness. We asked for a couple of wine glasses for our room and were told that each or any bottle of wine consumed in our room would be subject to a corking charge! This is a miserable practice that underlines the hotel's greed above all else. The keycards failed on one occasion and after the receptionist fixed them and we questioned the issue, he rudely shrugged and said "just a problem"
This hotel is more of a business hotel than a tourist hotel, as such it is practical, economical and efficient. We had dinner at the hotel, I do not recommend. Breakfast was very good and included. Location is super convenient, parking was available and rooms were large with great showers and bedding. We would stay again ...
We stayed here a couple of years ago and we’re sorry to see how the maintenance of the rooms has deteriorated. Our room was in a sad state and rather dirty. Fridge had not been stocked properly and half drunk bottles of water left there. The staff at reception did try to address some of the issues but the experience led to our decision not to return to this property in the future.
The hotel provided a great experience for a traveler who has been to Sao Paulo many times during these past five years. From it's location, just a few foot steps from Paulista, to very friendly receptionists whose English is very good, to the spacious room, to the tasteful breakfast and the generosity with which the room was made available well before the official check-in time and allowed to keep it well beyond the official check-out time, this is a place I would like to return to soon.
