Terrible Front Desk Manager, called Raquel Begosso I have stayed at the Hotel as a Platinum member. My daughter is married to a Marriot worker so I have the privilege of staying at all hotels with a discounted rate. After almost a week staying at the hotel paying almost 400 reales, I received a call from a manager, saying that I had a fake form. On top of that I requested to speak to the general manager and also the HR manager. She refused to put me in contact with them after 1 hour seating in the sofa lobby. She started talking to me, left me and never came back. the form isn’t fake and she was gossiping and making false accusations regarding me and she escalated the situation to the HR in the USA. She was trying to fire the colleague. Marriott is a beautiful brand and an amazing corporate. Few bad apples like her destroys the loyalty of the clientele. I find out that the team at the Renaissance São Paulo are not professional, immature and they do not respect their own colleagues. They must learn team environment and try to resolve problems without making more problems. After, I received a called of someone saying that she was a director of revenue. I found out that the person doesn’t exist and Raquel request a random person to call me, interrogating me like I was a criminal. I used 20% discount as I’m used to. But I didn’t know I could not use. I told her I’m willing to pay for full-price. Even that she did the gossiping thing, maliciously, anti-ethics, no morale at all. I am requesting a contact from Marriott corporate because I’m an amazing client and I was treated like garbage by these unprofessional people.

I used to stay here frequently before the pandemic. Now that I am back traveling again I was pleasantly pleased that this hotel has not lost its wonderful charm and customer service. The people are awesome! The executive lounge is open (although limited hours and no full service bar....but great breakfast and happy hour snacks). This is good news for Platinum+ Bonvoy members. My only complaint is the limited TV channels and AC (cool but not cold). Only one full time English channel (CNN)! This is disappointing. But if you can forgo these two items the hotel is definitely worth the stay

I`m an Bonvoy ambassador member and Lifetime Titanium Elite with almost 2400 nights at the Marriott chain hotels. I would like to mention the best customer service and support ever from Caroline Lindholz and her team, they look for every detail and provided all my needs in perfection. They really care about all customer but in special loyalty customer. The room was like I expected, very clean avoiding any risk of contamination from the previous guest, comfortable and quiet. I tis very pleasant receiving such a special treatment from all the team. Renaissance will be always my choice in Sao Paulo. I don’t even know where to start, from the moment we pulled up to the hotel the staff were there to immediately there open the door with warm welcomes! Our bags were taken up to our rooms and check in was fast and friendly. The decor is stunning, bar is full and the rooms was spotless and clean. If that didn’t convince you let me say the staff are incredible, with a particular spotlight on Marcos Z! So helpful, kind and polite! I don’t just highly recommend this hotel I URGE you to stay here, you won’t be disappointed.
