This is one place that is really not pleasant to stay in. Reception people are really not helpful. Most of them don't understand much English. The rooms are really old and the furniture is pretty bad. The beds very light and shifts as you sleep. Carpets are worn out and old especially on the passages they are full of bumps....

Old hotel without maintains. Everything is old beginning from the elevator. The room is a tiny apartment with old door and floor. The old toilet and shower are a little be dirty and smelling, they have to leave the toilet window open. The restaurant is close in the evening you have only the room service. And in the morning the...

We checked into our 2 bedroom suite at 3:45 pm on Thursday. Immediately the problems began. Room 1305 is a disaster! A huge hole in the wall of the 2nd bedroom was patched with a thin piece of plywood. The screws had fallen out, thus a gaping hole large enough to throw a soccer ball through allowed tons of freezing...

Good place to a short stay. Good neighborhood. Next to great restaurants and Av Paulista. You can walk aroud, safely. The building is too old, but clean. I didn't like the shower. Staffs are friendly. The breakfast is good, as always in Brazil. The apartment has a living room, a small kitchen, two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Good for family....

Excellent location, functional staff that speaks English and will help with Portuguese. Old hotel with outdated rooms. Clean rooms and decent breakfast. No complimentary water or kettle to make coffee.

The hotel is nice in general, has good space, a large and good quality breakfast, a well functioning gym but the overall gives you a feeling of "could do more and better" for that price in terms of service and makes you feel like it is resting on its laurels. The reception could be a bit more efficient, it took...

The location is fantastic... However, it goes downhill from here... the reception staff is surly (they have never heard of greeting guests with a smile), quite unhelpful and act as if they are doing you a favor by providing you with basic info, such as hotel breakfast, the gym, the (lack of a) restaurant, etc... The rooms itself are large...

I need to iron my shirt and coat. When you book a hotel in such a good district you expect something above every day Holiday Inn Express or Comfort Inn, which ALL have irons for simple business traveler. This hotel does not, and that is that. For this reason I chose "bad" rather than "reasonable" because any decent manager would...

this hotel is located at JARDIM area, the best residential area of SP. 2 streets away ( 3 min walk) to Avenue Paulista - the main boulevard of SP. Renaissance hotel is next door making this hotel highly sought after, being low price and it offers apartment-suite style with kitchnette in certain rooms. The property is pretty old unsuitable for...

My stay here was great. The service was friendly and sufficient and the location was great. Close to Paulista Avenue, only a short walk and located in Jardins which is my favourite area in Sao Paulo, a lot of beautiful restaurants located in Jardins. I would stay here again for sure. An affordable option if you're simply looking for a...

Staying in Jardins

Neighbourhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighbourhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighbourhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
