Staff was outstanding friendly and helpful. Already started at check in where they recommended us to wait about 30 minutes so we could get a room on a higher floor so would have a better view and less noise from the carnival festivities on Copacabana. After the welcome drink, we went to our room. Nice and clean and not to small either. Breathtaking view from sunrise till... sunrise :)The location is fabulous too. On Copa but also near to Ipanema. We even walked from the hotel to shopping Leblon taking the ocean view route. Breakfast is super. Besides the regular buffet of fruits, cereals, croissants, eggs, juices and alike, a chef will make you any eggs or pancakes. Try the cheese bread/puffs but leave room for the pancakes with the sweet 'Dulce de Leche' I even bought some in the local supermarket to take home. Roof top pool with bar and again an amazing view Special thanks to Rodrigo, Leonardo for the refill coffee's and Bruno…
Hotel is within one block of Copa Capana Beach. Plenty of restaurants along the beach...but we ate at the hotel and had a delicious Cesar Salad. the hotel is on the smaller side, but very neat and clean.
We stayed for 4 days, it's an average hotel. The rooms are average size, a little dated (nursing home light brown). The breakfast was nice, but DO NOT have your laundry done there. The prices are ridiculous. I misread the fine print and was charged $71 for a small bag of laundry. $5 to wash a shirt. They were unwilling to negotiate or lower the price for an honest mistake. I would NEVER recommend staying here. You can find better hotels near Copacabana beach with better service.
Pleasant hotel with good service and in good location for Copacabana Beach and numerous restaurants. Breakfast was good with numerous choices. We dined in the restaurant twice but there was very few people dining there and I felt it was a bit pricey, Our room let it down .while being clean it was very small and there was not much room to move or put down our cases. There was no view from the window save a space between the building behind I would not want to stay here for more than a few days
Location - Good location very close to Copacabana beach, super markets, banks, atm. However, there are no great views from the hotel as it is surrounded by buildings on three sides (except the road side) Check-In - Check in process took over 30 mins as they had a miscommunication between the reception and house keeping staff. Was shocked to learn that type of room I booked wasn’t available when i reached the hotel. They then arranged a similar room and hence the wait. Rooms - Rooms are clean and nice and have basic things like TV, AC, private bathroom with shower, hair dryer, minibar, phone, fridge, wardrobe. Majority of the hotel rooms will be closely overlooking another building. As a result, not great views. Avoid rooms closer to lift or road side areas as it could become quite noisy sometimes. Amenities - restaurant, 24/7 room service have limited menu but are good, gym is okay, has basic equipment (ambience can be improved).no swimming pool. Service - Great service! Communication between the reception and housekeeping could be improved. Also, housekeeping staff rung my doorbell at 8:00 am, which is proactive but bit early for cleaning the rooms. If you wouldn’t like to be disturbed at that time, please instruct reception to arrange room cleaning at your convenient time. Prices - Reasonable. If booked a few weeks in advance, most likely the prices will be lesser or equal to other three star hotels in the area. Summary - Good hotel, reasonable price, okay stay.…
Windsor Copa has a very positive relation price-quality with comfortable rooms, kind staff, good breakfast and excellent location in Copacabana: close to the seaside, restaurants and several stores. We have enjoyed our stay there since our first time in 2016.
I really loved staying in this hotel. It’s very clean and it gets cleaned every morning. There are fresh towels and fresh sheets. There is a bidet in every room, which is amazing in the hot weather. It’s very close to the sea and to Copacabana beach. There is good Wi-Fi in the room and in the breakfast room. There is a fridge and minibar in the room. You can leave your luggage there when you go away for a few days. I’ve got a good rate on the room and we had to pay extra $10 for breakfast but it was worth it. Breakfast is big and fresh and very nice. Omlette, bacon, toasties, waffles, three fresh cakes and a few pastries, four fresh fruit types, cheeses and hams, yoghurts, fruit smoothie, fresh fruit juices, tea and and coffee. Try the herbal boldo tea, it’s nice. If you are jet lagged and hungry by 6am, this is the place for you. Reception bathrooms were squeaky clean. Reception staff were great at answering all our questions about trips and visits. For some reason we couldn’t get them to send a toilet brush to our room :). For a quick dinner on arrival we went to Manuel and Joachim restaurant around the corner on the beach front. Copacabana beach was safe to walk in the early evening, just don’t wear pendants, especially gold ones. After 10pm we were told to take a cab back rather than walk in the neighbourhood. On Thursday night there is a touristy night market along Copacabana. I heard on weekends there is a arty craft market too. Go to Bip Bip bar for live music. I really enjoyed staying here.…
We stayed here for a few days. Nice hotel, clean and polite staff. The hotel is a short walk away from the famous Copacabana beach and has many shops and restaurants around. We felt quite safe in the neighbourhood. Breakfast was buffet style, with lots of choices and great coffee.
Stayed in a standard room. Clean hotel, great shower. Very good breakfast hot and cold choices and coffee machines and waiter service as well. Very pleasant staff. English speaking on reception and very helpful. Walking distance from Copacabana and Ipenama beaches. Extensive choice of bars and restaurants nearby.
Good hotel with a perfect location to the boulevard of the Copacabana. Rooms are very clean, but really really small. We couldnt fit our 2 suitcases in. The bathroom is spacious and we loved the shower. On our last day there was no possibility for a late checkout, they do provide luggage storage. Unfortunately no shower room available. They do provide beach towels.
