Ipanema Inn was the perfect place to stay while visiting Rio de Janeiro. The lobby/cafe was inviting and beautifully decorated. The rooms were on the small side, but they were clean and had everything we needed (mini fridge, toiletries, hairdryer, closet space, A/C). The bed was very comfortable as well. The included breakfast was some of the best food we had in Brazil, everything is very fresh and absolutely delicious! The staff and service at the hotel were superb! They were extremely attentive, friendly and helpful (Most of them speak some English as well!). They allowed us an early check-in, as well as helping us book a guide to a football game. The location of this place is right near the beach, and the hotel provides towels, beach chairs, and umbrellas. If you are visiting Ipanema beach, you have to come stay here! …

My first time in Rio and it was fantastic. Lovely place, clean. And such a friendly team. Comfortable bed and quiet ambience. Near to the beach, only 2 hundred meters, with free beach cair and stuff. Excellent food. And the Caipirinhas were so tasty.

It was an excelent experience. The employees were very kind and helpful. It was the best breakfast we have during all our trip. The possibility of using bikes was great for getting to know rio de janeiro and the location of the hotel was great too.

We stayed only one night. The Hotel is very nice, personal meet us in a very good mood, but the rooms are kind of a small. Therr is no place for baggage. Very nice location and a kind stuff. Delicious breakfast and beautiful area for it.

This hotel is fantastic! The quality of the products and the design of the rooms are stunning. The breakfast is also impeccable, however, the biggest surprise was the treatment dedicated to the guests. Experiencing how genuine and happy the staff members are made me feel more than welcome. The staff will go beyond our expectations to guarantee the guests are having a good time. I cannot thank you enough guys! A special praise to the housekeepers who cleaned the mess I left in my room, the maintenance guy who helped me assembling four wooden boxes, the reception and porters who helped me packed and carry all of them to the taxi. Adilson (sorry if that is not the correct name) I hope you are recovering well. We will certainly be back!

Every single employee is happy, hospitable, helpful and warm. The rooms are simple but have the essentials a very comfortable bed, a good shower, pleasant toiletries, fresh thick towels. We had breakfast included which is an amazing deal. The Quiteria Cafe is so pleasant and the food is delicious. A lot of attention to details. Lots of healthy and very tasty choices! The free beach chairs, umbrellas and towels are a big plus and the staff hired at the beach are so friendly and make you feel secure. We loved our stay! Oh...I didn't mention you can access free bicycles that are in very good working order. This place is a gem.

Really great hotel. Nice atmosphere. Clean. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Safe area close to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops and transport links. We walked around at night and it was fine. Rooms are nice. Not huge but comfortable and perfect to come back to for a shower and a good night's sleep. There was a mini bar in the room with some drinks and snacks that you need to pay for if you take any items. We didn't have breakfast but had dessert at the restaurant hotel one evening which was really good. We split our time in Rio between Copacabana and Ipanema. Ipanema was definitely nicer. Much more upmarket and a lot safer.

Had a lovely stay at Ipanema Inn. The hotel is in a great location, a few steps from the beach, restaurants, bars, shops etc. They offer beach towel, chair and bikes which was neat. The room was a bit small but very clean. Breakfast was included and super yummy, kind of different from other hotels. I stayed there for 2 weeks and got very spoiled by their staff who were extremely friendly, helpful and thoughtful. I won’t recall everyone’s name but Natalia, Rose, Miguel, and everyone there delivers outstanding customer service. I need to come back for sure.
