The hotel has a (relatively) good location, I mean it gives you the peace of mind of belonging to a known chain and offering you 10 minute ride to most of the attractions you want to see in Rio (OK, not most, but many) I have stayed here twice in July and the rooms were totally different, one very small...

This hotel is in a great location. The rooms are really large and the staff are really friendly (even though we struggled to communicate a little). The food is good too. For the price it is definitely value for money.

Botafogo is not the most visited area in Rio de Janeiro, yet is very enjoyable and safe. I used many times this hotel, mainly for business trip, its location is very strategic, close to good restaurants, markets and to the subway. If you have a car it is a very good choice because they don't charge you any extra for...

Similar level of service, quality of rooms and facilities you would expect in any Mercure. The hotel is well located in central Botafogo close to the Santa Marta favela, many good restaurants and within a short drive of the Rio beaches.

The hotel is that know quality of Mercure Hotels. But the breakfast was a disappoint. Low variety of fruits and juices for the price. A good point was the staff (very friendly), the clearness, the price, and the location.
