Good price for it's location near the beach. On the flip side, you'll need to have a shoe at hand to keep the creepy crawly fauna at bay. There were also some suspicious stains on the curtains. Overall - 10/10 cockroaches would recommend.
The location of the hotel is great. Close to the beach and close to the center with restaurants cafes, etc. The room by itself is average, but fulfilled our needs. The staff and the service were good. Breakfast was ok.
Ottima pulizia. Davvero unici! Rooms are very clean. Located 100 metres far from the beach of Copacabana. Our room was located at 10 floor so we could enjoy the sea-view. But what really made our day (week) were the guys at the front desk. They were extremely helpful, funny, smart and helped us to optimize our stay in Rio. THANKS GUYS!!!!!!!!! You rock Serena (and Mattia)
The hotel itself is literally on copacabana beach and less than a 15 minute walk from the nearest metro station. They offer a descent breakfast, free WiFi, and excursions. My room was pretty clean and compact. The only drawback was that there weren’t any ‘do not disturb’ signs to hang on your doorknob outside to stop housekeeping from entering your room when you aren’t present. Otherwise, I felt completely safe.
Souvenir Shops, also it is close to all the public Transport Metro and Bus. Easy to reach from the airport By Uber. The rooms are simple but Spacious and clean.Air Con Working perfectly We really enjoyed the breakfast it was a really big choice and it was also very tasty. The Staff was also outstanding very friendly and helpful they could put some Driers in the room for the wet towels and clothes, also the internet in our room was almost always not working except in the bathroom where was the only place where we could use it or in the reception
We arrived in Rio after booking this property on Expedia.ca. Although the lobby was dingy we could not believe the room. There was no window, the door lock fell off (literally) and the place smelled of must and mould. We quickly left the room and called Expedia who thankfully rescued us and found us a a decent place to stay. I have never been in a dirtier and most run down property anywhere.adter travelling to more than 34 countries. Don’t waste your money and take a chance. It is absolutely terrible.
We arrived at Copacabana Beach and went to our hotel. They made us fill out many forms and took photocopies of our passports. We went to our room, and immediately felt it was dirty and had an extremely unpleasant smell. There was visible me scum and dirt in the bathroom, mirrors, and walls. There was a “window” in the room but you couldn’t even see out of it either because it was too dirty or just made like that. Either way, there was no sunlight coming in the room. The entire lock fell off the door as we were walking out which did not make my family feel safe whatsoever. We quickly decided we did not want to stay there and proceeded to call to cancel (while we were at the beach because we really didn’t want to stay in the hotel any longer) The person on the phone claimed they didn’t have our reservation or name (even though as previously stated, they took photocopies of our passports) and claimed they didn’t have a room 104- when that was the room number we were assigned. When speaking to the manager, she was completely unprofessional and rude about the entire situation and refused to do anything to help us which then forced us to pay for an additional hotel that night. If you value cleanliness, proper customer service and safety, don’t stay at this hotel.…
From the moment we walked in it was a very bad experience. The room was very dirty - the mirrors, shower and bathroom were full of dust and dirt. There was no window in the room, and the lock actually fell off the door when we opened it to leave. Expedia was called to see if they could do anything for us, and the front desk manager lied to them and said they did not have records of our passports (when they did), that there was no room 104 and that there was no guest with my last name. They would do absolutely nothing for us despite the gross state the room was in, so we were forced to leave and spend more money on another hotel. I do not recommend this hotel at all, poor cleanliness and customer service.
Great location, very safe area just round the corner from the beach, cheap uber trips to everywhere due to central location. Best thing is the front desk staff. We would like to thank Thais, Denis, Marcos, Orlando, Everton and Erika for helping us so much during our stay. We will miss you guys!
My girlfriend and I stayed at the CLH Suites Copacabana from February 28 - March 10th 2019 for Carnaval. We were extremely happy with everything this hotel had to offer. Our room was the 14th floor Penthouse room 1401. The views from this room anre unreal. From the living room you have a view of Copacabana beach and a miraculous sunrise every morning. From the kitchen you have a few of Christ The Redeemer and the beautiful mountains surrounding it. The hotel is located in what my opinion is one of the Safest areas in Brazil. There are always lots of police just a block away at the beach which in Rio is always a good thing. There are 24 hour atms 2 blocks away (which is hard to find) as well as a currency exchange next to them. Within two blocks there is so much shopping, food and grocery stores you could literally eat drink and go to the beach and never leave a 4 block radius. (Which I would never recommend just saying you could) There are blocos very near by if you are looking to party for Carnaval. Our room could comfortably sleep 5-7 people. The room had one King bed and a room with 3 twins. There is also a couch in the living room that could sleep 1 person. There were multiple Air Conditoners in the rooms to save us from the heat outside. Although I was never awake for the breakfast, I made it back one morning pretty late and was able to look at the food and it all looked very tasty. Most importantly we loved the hotel front desk staff and all they had to offer. A few of the front desk staff spoke 100% perfect English which made it very easy to coordinate bus trips to Arraial do Cabo as well as the Futbol stadium. They even sold tickets and transportation packages which were very fairly priced to the Maracanã Stadium. Of the employees, Dennis, Marcos and Erica made us feel so at home we were truly honored to have them at the hotel. From reservations to recommendations these guys were better than most 5 Star hotel front desk agents. We will miss their warm welcomes and continuous help.…
