I stayed at this Hotel with it`s perfect location for to get into the beach and other places of the city. room was clean and offered a comfortable sleep please never trust the reception staff when they tell you not to visit some parts of the city which is dangerous, i wanted to visit Lapa district of Rio, they said no no no, it is so Dangerous. i did not care, i went there and made one of my best ever memory in Rio. this reception also asked the other guests not to visit this place, that place, bla bla.. i think locals scare of Rio more than tourists :)))
I came here with a tour group and had a pleasant stay. Really great location on Copacabana beach, next to all sorts of restaurants, cafes and shops. The service from the front desk and bellman/doorman was top notch. Every encounter was friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed sitting on the rooftop by the pool which provides some fantastic photos. I did not care for the pizza served at that restaurant by the pool though. It was almost all cheese and nothing else (very flimsy/cafeteria style crust). The room was a bit on the small side, but was very clean. I only recommend an update to the décor and furnishings which seemed a little outdated. Otherwise, for a value hotel I think this was a good option.
We only stayed three nights but found the hotel perfect for what we needed. Right on the beachfront - you just cross the road and you're on the beach. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good and the staff were pleasant and polite. Thank you for a lovely stay.
We stayed at Windsor for 3 days. It was an enjoyable stay. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is right by the beach, next to Copacabana Hotel and close to numerous cafes, restaurants. It is also an easy walk from the hotel to metro. The lobby, room, washroom, hallway are clean. The size of the room is decent and comfortable. There is enough amenities in the room: shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion etc. Our room is facing the building next to it so there is no view at all. However it is nice and quiet at night and we had very good sleep. There is a pool and a café at the terrace on top of the hotel. We never used the pool. You have a nice view of the beach at the terrace. Breakfast is included in our room rate. The restaurant is on the main floor next to the lobby. The breakfast variety is simple but sufficient: coffee, tea, egg, bacon, fresh fruit, cereal, muffins, cured meat etc. We enjoyed a good breakfast before exploring the city. The customer service of the reception staff of the hotel is very good and efficient. We feel safe walking around the hotel area.…
I always stay somewhere else when I come to Rio. This time I decided stay here due to different reasons; convenience of the location for this trip and teenager hood memories. Good job at the front desk! The girl that checked me in was very nice and efficient. The hotel is outdated and needs renovation. This place was my first job as a hotelier, 45 years ago, good memories! Unfortunately, the classic style of the 50s is gone. During my stay I bumped into two employees that were simply amazing, Alex and Dalva. It was very nice talking to them, hard workers, happy people.
