This is a great party hostel in terms of it being lively. If you're looking for a night off or you're not big into heading out, I wouldn't stay here as the music goes on for quite a while into the night. The breakfast is...More

This has got to be the best place on planet Earth. My first experience there was being checked in by Alex (who I have to say must be the greatest hostel worker in the world, no one could ever top the service he provided from...More

Booked to stay for 3 nights, ended up staying a week. Was the best hostel of our entire 6 month trip in South America! Staff are super friendly and the owner Filipe goes out of his way to make sure you have the best time...More

This is up there for one of my favourite hostels on the planet. It's a party place, so please don't get me wrong, but the owner is an absolute legend, and the people you meet I can guarantee will be friends for life. If I...More

Santa Teresa
Santa Teresa is a bohemian enclave hosting many local
artists’ studios. The narrow, winding streets of this
neighbourhood were revitalised years ago, and visitors
can now stroll through this area to view magnificent
mansions dating back to the late 19th and early 20th
century. A highlight not miss: Museu Chacará do Céu, a
former mansion turned museum which houses works by
prominent Brazilian modern artists.
