We stayed here during the carnival, the Hotel was clean, the breakfast was very Good and the staff was helpfull. The hotell felt secured and it was near the busstation. We did take taxi to Copacabana and it took about 30 minutes and cost about 50 real.

We arrived late at night. The Ibis Hotel was closed. We were told we had to stay at the Novotel Porto Atlantico right next door. They knew about our reservation. We don't know why that happened, but we liked the other hotel very much. It was much alike Ibis, judging by the photos online. It was nice and clean.

My staying was gorgeous, considering that I was supposed to stay at Ibis Porto Atlântico instead. Well, maybe at least some of the staff members should speak English to provide an even better accomodation.

The supposed upgrade to the Novotel was full of inconvenience from the check-in to the check out, particularly the down (almost disrespectful) treatment by the desk clerk, who made ironic comments about the upgrade and made extremely difficult the booking, despite od the reservation. The service at the restaurant was deficient and the quality of the dinner was terrible, with all goods serves with urgent delay and cold, simply unbearable.

good hotel for business trip, great attendants, good bar, poor restaurant and dinner . The food took so long to be served. Good breakfest. nice pool view, it have Gym, sauna and pool. Clean towels. Room always clean every day time.

We thought this hotel was very nice and clean. The front desk employee was very polite and helped us out on our further stay here at Rio. Even though the hotel is 1year old we really liked it, thanks!

Here on business, quite modern, very basic. No kettle for a start, and only shampoo n a bar of soap. Although upon asking I manged to get a power adapter, but that was it. Breakfast wise also basic, protein, sugar and fruit. Some weird dog smelling sausage stuff, (stinks the lower floor out)

Great place to stay for those planning to go over the Olympic circuit. It's located right on front of VLT stop, so you can easily visit the Olympic Boulevard and walk around all the Porto region. You can also take the VLT and go to the subway or train to visit other Rio attractions such as the Cristo and Sugarloaf. Hotel staff very friendly and clean hotel rooms, the hotel build is pretty new. Great breakfast at hotel beside Novotel.
