Wonderful private spot with very clean comfortable rooms. If you don't have too much luggage, hike from Abraao so you can see and listen to all the wildlife. Access to the trail system is nearby and plenty of options. You can fall asleep to the sound of the waves.

My boyfriend and I had a great time there! It's a beautiful and quiet place, great food, great breakfast and great staff - very friendly and cooperative. From the "cabanas" you can easily hear the sea and the birds... You can also see a beautiful sunrise/sunset. Neat and organized place. We will def go back! Thanks Cabanas Paraíso - we... More

Very good place and awesome people working there!! They have great breakfast and the menu deashes are very well cooked. The beach is amazing, few people, what made us feel like having all for just us. Its also a good walk to reach other places through the forest. Its a place to be back for sure.

+ LOCATION: Perfect, it is in fact a private beach, used by hosts only. Away from the busy/noisy main village, close to several hikes and trails. Local guide available on site to take you to hidden beaches. + FOOD: very good restaurant and bar on site. Other options on the next beach, 5 min walk. Breakfast is excellent (better than... More

Very nice place to stay despite being quite isolated. You need to hire a taxiboat to go anywhere and this can be a bit expensive, so it is better to stay there only if you don't plan go to to the city often. I had a very bad experience with the owner, who was very rude to me and my... More

We stayed there for two nights at the end of June 2015. We had a great time at Cabanas Paraiso. On the one hand we can relate to previous reviews complaining about the isolation and the simplicity of the place. However, as long as you know it beforehand and you don't mind it, the place is lovely. Being a bit... More

Peace and quiet, beach right in front of you, birds singing and homemade, delicious, generous breakfast. That's all in this Paradise (what "paraiso" means in Portuguese). The staff is friendly and the food is very good too. Try the parmegian dishes - they do it like nobody else does!

ATTENTION! If you want to enjoy nature and tranquillity, thats the place for you. In the other side, if you intend to be in a "city-like" neighborhood, with easy acess to restaurants, stores, boat tourings and it all, you should try Abraao. Cabanas is at Brava beach far about 4 miles from Abraao on foot (steep trail) or 15' by... More

Lovely beach - that's the best thing about this place. At night you can hear the generator, the ceiling fans in the cabins are so loud that even with earplugs they are not usable (believe me, you need them). Small fan over our bed was broken. Room was clean but damp and musty. Staff EXTREMELY unfriendly, bordering on rude. Food... More

This used to be a camping place which is now going upscale with cabanas: there are the economical cabanas in which I stayed and the larger ones, which I only saw from outside. The cabanas are on a small beach called Praia Brava das Palmas, a ten minute walk to the larger and more populated Praia das Palmas. Praia Brava... More
