Exceptionally friendly staff and very fast internet (hd Netflix compatible). Rooms clean and big. TV very old. Soft towels, nice bathtub. Comfy beds. Includes a pool. Nothing more to say but need to write at least 200 characters ;)

There aren't too many options if you have to stay in Afton, but this place isn't that nice. The carpet was frayed the, curtains were ripped, the lampshade was melted, the linoleum in the bathroom was peeled, the plaster was cracked and the lock bar on the door was broken off. On the good side the owners were very nice... More

The room was dirty, it had a fan (no AC, we weren't told that), the tv reception was all fuzzy. The room was dirty. We were charged almost $73 for that crappy room. We wanted to talk to the desk person in the morning, but no one was around. Stay at one of the places down the road, they had... More

We loved the friendly country atmosphere! Rooms were clean and comfortable. No AC just a fan BUT the fan was all we needed to be cool and comfortable. The owners were very friendy and helpful. Not a fancy motel, just PERFECT for the Wyoming experience! Very Reasonable!

We moved here after being at the Lazy B one night. $30 cheaper a night and just as good. Plenty of towels, nice queen beds, nice bedding and kids stay FREE! We have 4 so this is fantastic! No Ac but you get a fan and we stayed nice and cool in August. And we love our Ac. Only 3... More

We drove around town and looked at a few hotels from the outside. We thought the High Country Inn in Afton looked cute and rustic. We checked out our room and it was Very clean and cozy so we rented it for one night, then we rented it an additional night. The price was Very reasonable, beds were quite comfortable.... More

Booked several rooms in advance and the owners were wonderful and very accomodating. When we walked into the office I was not sure if I was in the right place as there were piles of papers, crafting stuff, knick-knacks, toys and everything else scattered everywhere and not much that indicated this was a motel office. Got checked in fine. The... More

My husband and I stayed there for our one year anniversary. The swimming pool was wonderful, the air was cool but the water was a perfect temperature. We went swimming after dark and the moon was full and the view was magnificent. The mountains, what a majestic, romantic sight. We felt like we were on the top of the world.... More

The broken sign should have been a clue. The office was piled with tools. This was not what we thought it would be. It was average to below average - very modest accomadations. The ice machine cost a quarter but it wasn't working anyway, no hairdryers. Beds were ok, sheets paper thin.

We were driving through Star Valley and needed a place to stay. Two places we stopped at first were both booked, but one called ahead to the Hi-Country Inn and found they had a vacancy. The man at the front desk was very nice. The room was decent and the beds were comfortable. The ice machine costs a quarter, but... More
