The hotel is quite worn down. The rooms have their wear and tear but they're clean and spacious. Its location is the main selling point - 5 minutes walking to bus stop to the falls, Itaipu dam and the shops. Staff tried to be helpful but they are quite limited by lack of English.

The hotel itself is in a good location, the rooms are spacious and clean. What let it down was the attitude of a couple of members of staff. We turned up from a 21 hour night bus at approx 11am. Given the size of the hotel, and the fact that in 17 continuous months of travelling we've never had a...

My friend's and I stayed at this hotel for two nights whilst visiting Iguacu falls on our mini Brazil tour. It's not very expensive and it is very close to the centre of town so you can walk to and from restaurants/bars etc (although beware - there are hills :). It is easy to access from the airport and the...

This hotel is a good budget option. It is in a central location in Foz do Iguacu and we walked to many of the restaurants we visited. The hotel were also able to arrange us a driver on both days we wanted to visit the falls, both to the Brazilian and Argentinian sides, and even exchanged Brazilian reals for Argentinian...

Bus stop to the falls and airport is very close to this hotel. Ask people at the reception for direction. There are few restaurant around this hotel. Taxi is not that expensive anyway. Breakfast was good, I tried the local specialties. The room was basic, but had great view of the city.

This is a comfortable hotel, in a good location. One of the main shopping areas is just around the corner - turn right out of the front door. Turn left out the front door, and in the next cross street you will find the Tropicana Restaurant - excellent meals and great value for money. As well, the bus stop for...

You shouldn't expect any luxury at this price (we paid £13 per person per night through a hotel booking website) and sure enough you don't get it but what you do get is clean beds and a reasonable breakfast in a somewhat quirky building that was probably a block of apartments at some point in it's life. The location is...

The hotel staff (at the reception) was super friendly and helpful. They all spoke english very well and we had some good laughs together! The room we stayed at seemed to be in the middle of remodelling. In its current state its layout was very illogical, though very spacious. The beds were soft and comfortable. There was some kind of...

We stayed at Maria Ricca for two nights and were very happy. I actually made a mistake with the booking and booked the wrong dates, the hotel were great about it when we turned up a day late and allowed us to stay for two nights without any extra charge. The location of the hotel was spot on as it...
