Hello! All good? The hotel has an excellent location, there is everything nearby and when you cross the street you are on the beach. The hotel's facade has nothing to do with the photos, when I arrived I confess that I was a little disappointed.
Room- the room itself is excellent, it has very soft beds and a beautiful view. The air conditioning makes a little noise and does not cool the room evenly.

Unfortunately we were saddened by the lack of maintenance of the hotel. The bathroom in room 233 is scary. Dirty, dingy, with leaks in the shower and toilet. Shameful sink, mold on the shower ceiling. A terrible smell, I had to wash it to use it. The room is good, with observation that the bed moves out of place when we sit down to watch television (it keeps sliding). The pool is full of mud, and the area surrounding it has cracks. Guests had loud private music, smoking, eating and drinking in the pool (including a glass bottle), the staff saw it and did nothing. It's a shame so many defects. We hope to return and we really hope that this assessment is taken into account. We really like the Nord chain.

Very good location, large and spacious room (we were given an apartment with a balcony and sea view, which helped a lot in the evaluation), good shower and smart TV.

The hotel in general has a musty smell, the breakfast, despite having a wide variety, has no flavor. The juices are terrible (0 taste), we bought a Prats juice at the market to take with us for breakfast.
When I looked at the reviews on the trip, many comments spoke about the friendliness of the staff, however I would like to know where this friendliness was. All the employees seemed to be in a bad way, especially one of the maids.
With the exception of the girl who made the tapioca (in fact the only option that saved our coffee).
Furthermore, a situation occurred that left us indignant, on the third day they left a manager in the room saying that we had consumed 2 still waters and one sparkling water (although we had only consumed one still water, neither my boyfriend nor I usually drink water with gas), I went to reception and complained, they immediately removed the products but the attitude itself was regrettable.
Furthermore, for several nights we had to make the bed and spread the sheet because even though it was folded instead of being laid out, it was simply folded in half under the blanket. I would like to know what the justification is for this🤷🏻♀️

Nord is a chain of hotels in this part of Brazil and we’ve stayed at other locations, and they were alright. This hotel used to be the Skyler Mar Hotel. It has been a Nord hotel for 6 years, but they still have the name of the old hotel on all the rooms (“Skyler Mar Hotel” see photo). I guess they haven’t had the time to take the old signs down. Strike one.
We were staying in the city for only one night for the Christmas holidays and the Nord Luxxor Cabo Branco Hotel was conveniently located near where we wanted to go.
We checked in and went up to our room and the first thing my wife and I noticed was that the room stunk of mold. It appeared that they tried to clean the room, based on the smell of cleaning supplies, but it didn’t do the trick. I went down to the receptionist to let her know that since I was only staying one night, I didn’t want to change rooms, but that they should be aware of the terrible odor in our unit. She offered to change our room, but I didn’t trust that the next room didn’t have the same problem. Strike two.
The room itself was a bit Spartan. The bathrooms did not have individual toiletries but rather, soap and shampoo dispensers on the wall, which I only expect to find in lower-end hotels (this hotel charges about the same as most of the hotels in the area, so the least they could do is give me a bar of soap or charge me less). Our room had a view of an airshaft, but I won’t complain since I didn’t choose to upgrade to a room with a view.
There was a lack of lighting fixtures in the room, so you either had to sleep with a bright light on or remain in complete darkness.
On the positive side, breakfast, which is included, was pretty good and the restaurant was attractive.
Overall, for the the experience we had, I don’t think I’d be staying here again and I don’t think I can recommend you stay here either.

We chose this hotel because it would be the best category in the chain, however, it was far below expectations.
The breakfast is very bad, the juices are all industrialized, there is no natural fruit juice and little variety of fruit. We stayed there for 5 days and in 2 of them there wasn't even a banana in the coffee. The breads are horrible and there is no toaster to help with the bread counter. They do not serve natural yogurt or lactose-free milk.
The hotel structure does not offer a shower for those arriving from the beach or even an external tap to wash your feet. We had to go up to our rooms with our feet covered in sand. The pool area also does not have an external shower.
There is no trash in the rooms, it is only in the bathroom. I stayed in 301 and the noise from the air conditioning units throughout the hotel was below my window, which was quite annoying.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only thing that was worth it was the location but for the price we paid it would have to be much better.

Good looking hotel (Nord Luxxor Cabo Branco), however, if you are a person who is very particular about hygiene it leaves something to be desired, the daily cleaning of the rooms is just for English to see. The seafront bedroom is an invitation for those who want to stay up all night....the noise from the cars is horrible. The friendliness of the people at the hotel falls far short of what you expect from a tourist city at least. Feeling of welcome 0, with few exceptions, most employees seem to be doing a favor grudgingly.....good morning/ good afternoon and good evening/ only if it comes from you. Very reasonable food, like all treatments, it seems to be done without any love. Chaotic traffic. Service at the bakery, pharmacy and grocery store as bad as the hotel. We had a good service experience at the craft fair (most of the shops) and at Manaçaí (restaurant). Our experience was so bad that we postponed our departure from the hotel and the city. In general, the reception of people and the food in João Pessoa were a terrible experience, but it was worth knowing that we will never return to this city again.

The location is great, the highest point of this review. The room is large, when you enter the room you smell musty, but when using the air conditioning this impression disappears. We stayed on the 1st floor. Another point is the ACOUSTIC INSULATION of the building is terrible. You can hear everything from the rooms. This is very annoying.
Another point PUT protectors under the legs of chairs, you only hear this in bedrooms, in everyday life and in restaurants. It's a chair being dragged and you listening and trying to sleep. This all the time. Comfortable hotel bed, more could be better. Cleaning ok, but it leaves something to be desired, it is “well on top”. Polite employees.
I do not recommend the restaurant in any way, the price does not match the delivery, neither in flavor nor in preparation. We had dinner there the first night, the dish took 40 minutes to arrive, reheated rice with the bottom of a pan and they managed to ruin the meat they put in which is filet mignon, the thickness of the steak, they wanted to brown the meat, it was horrible. They don't know how to do it.
The breakfast is ok, but I don't think there are many options, what saves it is the tapioca, I've been to all the states of the Northeast in much more hidden places, and the coffee was 10 to 0. The location is great and safe. However, considering the daily price charged, the hotel should be much better. I stayed for 1 week, in February 2023, with my husband and 2 year old daughter. The room we stayed in (triple) had some problems: the double bed was actually two single beds joined together, the mattress was uncomfortable, the covers were not double beds, but two single beds, one on top of the other. Guys, it's not possible that the hotel can't accommodate a couple's layette. Bed linen was not changed during the entire stay. There was a day when they didn't do room service, and I had left the sign on the door for them to clean it up. On the second day, the toilet started to leak, wetting the entire area near the bowl and shower, and it took 3 days to fix it, and we spent one morning with the toilet closed without flushing, with a small child in the room and a pregnant (me). We complained several times, but the staff had zero concern about resolving it or changing our room. The 2 shampoo/soap dispensers were broken and one of them barely worked (we had to disassemble it), in addition to not having identification of what was inside each one (it was impossible to know which one had soap and which one had shampoo/conditioner), I complained to the first day and only after a long delay, the next day, they informed us, but almost at the end of the stay, they put up signs to identify, but they did not replace the old and broken dispensers. Everything is incredibly slow and neglectful to resolve. The TV control didn't work (no battery?), but at that point we weren't even worried about watching TV anymore and used our laptop to watch movies at night. Breakfast was nothing special, the bread and cakes were all bad (there was even one with raw dough inside), and there was always a lack of cutlery (simple tip for the hotel management: buy and make more cutlery available!). We had lunch at the hotel on the first day and the food was pretty bad. Make no mistake, considering the level of the room and the structure of the hotel, this is a very average hotel. It left a lot to be desired, and like most hotels in Brazil, it is very easy to be deceived on the internet... always look at the reviews and lower the average, this way it will be closer to reality.

Very beautiful, cozy, clean hotel.
Terrible service at reception. Not to mention that at check-out they charged us again for parking that had already been paid at check-in.
They already tell reception about the Bathtub in the Suite that it is broken.
The area where breakfast is served is very small, it does not accommodate the flow that there is at the hotel.
Guests have to wait for a table to be free before they can enter gradually.
The cafe starts at 06:00, I was quite upset with the lack of variety and quality of the food. Yogurt with a suspicious texture, I believe because it was left on the counter, defrosted and then stored.
The breads are not fresh.
There is almost no food replacement. Considering the category of the Luxxor hotel, the coffee left a lot to be desired.
This was one of the most negative points.

The distance between hotel and airport is about 20, 25 km. There are vans and taxis doing the way. Not included in the price of the hotel.
