We arrived early in the morning, tired, the system was down, the attendant passed the entire Gol crew in front of us, everything was organized for them and we needed to wait and convince them that we had a reservation!
The room key doesn't work and they make us look guilty, each one with an excuse that underestimates our intelligence, because if you spend 15 minutes at reception you will realize that most guests need to come back to activate the key - absurd
Broken bathroom handle
Every day without soap, even though you requested it at reception
We only got beach towels for 3 days, always with the laundry excuse!
2 positive points-
1. breakfast has kind staff
2. We were allowed late check out
We won't be back!
The room was large, the bed was firm, the pillows were great. The walls were thin and we heard a couple in the room next door quite clearly. Our hotel faced the street and the street noise is not blocked very much. The shower had good water pressure, but was a square with shower doors that closed at the one corner. There is soap and shampoo/conditioner hybrid provided. There's a safe in the room, but we didn't use it out of fear of not understanding how to unlock it with instructions just in Portuguese. We didn't feel a need to use it either. The wifi was much better in the lobby than in the room.
The parking garage is secure, but we couldn't really tell it was the parking garage entrance. It's a steep driveway going under the hotel just to the right of the hotel's sliding door entrance.
The walkability of this hotel is totally worth the price we paid as Mangai is one block away and I highly recommend you go and the beach is three blocks away.
The breakfast in the morning is plentiful - they even have green coconuts. They have an omelette station, plenty of fruits, breads and hot foods too.
- clean rooms
- garage
- personnel friendly
- good breakfast including hot food
- opposite restaurant Mangai
Not so good
- extremely small rooms
- if you travel with children you cannot fit any extra bed
- the hotel has no extra beds or mattresses
- rooms new but still not finished. Wallpaper coming off wall
- 2nd floor is still a construction area
- rooms have no decoration (abajour - other)
- no swimming pool or leashes area.
Recommendable for couples who do not want to spend much - not recommendable for families with children.
