We stayed here as part of an organised tour and were hoping for a treehouse - as per the pictures. We were actually in a brick low rise building with a double room. Apart from that the grounds are lovely, nice pool, and lots of activities to do within the property - including making use of the two rivers that... More

Lovely place for few days of rest. Staff is nice and we had a double room accommodation for us and the kids. I've enjoyed going out for a run and coming back and swimming in the Formoso river which cross the property. You can enjoy lots of activities such as arvorismo, kayak and scuba diving, with very professional staff. The... More

I spent 2 nights here on route to Bolivian border with family. We used the hotel as a base camp to do the various tours around Bonito, including the Rio Plata tour. Rooms are clean and comfortable (some what basic) but perfect for a base camp. Great river which runs through the hotel with lovely mini waterfalls to explore. Perfect... More

We only stayed 2 nights, but would have liked more time to really enjoy the place and the wildlife around. The room was very comfortable with air conditioning and good wifi. I booked through another agency so didn't do any of the activities provided by the hotel. The breakfast was very nice and substantial. Staff were very helpful and could... More

Terrible! I don't recommend it at all. You think you'll make a very exciting and adventurous activity and a 5 year old wouldn't be scared. Besides there is a lengthy part where you have to kind of swim because the river flow is so low that it won't carry you!

My family and I stayed at Hotel Cabanas back in April. The stay was fantastic. Great customer service and accommodations. There is plenty to do in the hotel from archery to kayaking, there's never a dull moment. The hotel also has a nice pool by the breakfast area. The room we stayed in was spacious and the beds very comfortable.... More

We originally only planned to stay here two nights but we loved it so much we ended up staying four nights. The treehouse accommodation is really cool - we had monkeys climbing on the roof at one point. There are lots of activities (some free) on site so you can really enjoy your surroundings. Lots of choice for breakfast. The... More

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Cabanas. Pros: Free activities (Kayak, trail guide, bow and arrow - 10 shots), great area to enjoy nature (you can even swim at both of the rivers), animals (monkeys, greater rhea, red-and-green macaw, several other birds, etc), fair prices on food and drinks, several activities that can be done without leaving the...
