From the moment we walked through the front door of Carlton Hotel we were greeted by friendly staff and as English speaking travelers the staff went out of their way to understand and accommodate us. We were meeting a larger group of Brazilians and often after evening meetings would enjoy a delicious meal in their restaurant. The wait staff were...

Expensive for what you get! Old retro rooms which didn't feel clean, walls outside the window crumbling down (literally), thin windows so you could hear every passing car and motorbike (even on 12th floor) all of which combined led to a poor sleep and a resentful handover of money! Wifi costs money here too.

If I could give this hotel zero, I would. I stayed at the Carlton Hotel Brazilia for one week, while attending a regional conference. There was no blanket in my room, the air-condition was broken, the floors were smelly and the rooms were not very well cleaned daily. Even the paid wifi worked sporadically. Choose another hotel if you can.

Despite the hotel being old, it is very well located and comfortable , with a very good bed and a wonderful shower . The breakfast is very nice and diverse. Beside the hotel has a large mall that has very lively dining options .

Let's face it: Brasilia itself is a sorry monument to one of architecture's most abhorrent experiments. A city designed from scratch not to be liveable, but to look sharp on paper. Within one of the areas Oscar Niemeyer and his gang designated for lodging, the Carlton was built next to other free-standing hotels, a block away from Brasilia's desolated and...

We were there during the World Cup. Location was safe. Hotel was outdated. It was clean. It was pricey and they don't give you wifi. You have to pay. They had a good lobby to watch the games. It is disorganized because you go to the bar to order drinks and all you have to do is give a room...

The Carlton hotel still resides in a 70's time pocket. The staff are very friendly and attentive, they cannot be faulted. The decor is very dated and has no character, sitting in the bar having a few drinks with colleagues is something you would rather do somewhere else. WiFi is available at a price (I believe WiFi for paying guests...

this hotel is shabby meanwhile. The floors and the wallpapers, the doors don't close properly. It is quite clean, the breakfast and staff friendly. But the lookalike is not more than a 2 star hotel. The windows are not isolated, there was no quiet sleeping without earplugs. There is much to do till the World Championship in 2014

The best days of this hotel are, like a lot of its neighbours, long ago. The room was quite clean but it always smells fusty. There is no wifi in the rooms, just in the lobby - the cable based internet in the room didn't work. breakfast was okay, but nothing special. The gym is really small and the water...
